Because they probably don't like the pvp. The story did seem to end fast and not shed much light (pun intended) on the bulk of what's actually happening.

That's true, but it still used the same formula as every Bungie game. A lot of stuff is in the cards, and that demonstrably was a mistake. But, the formula is the same. Also, this is a coop heavy game- I never expected a story akin to Bioshock. And the journalists shouldn't use that as the metric either.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the games story. It felt a little disconnected for some reason though. Also I love doing the crucible with my brother and our buddies. ;)

Oh, I agree with you. It was disconnected- part of it is the cards, the other part is the games concept. In the expansion, they should give the crucible a narrative. Or give a narrative to the iron banner

Yeah I know the crucible is used as a training ground, just through hearing npc's in town talk. I'm actually super excited for new pvp maps to shoot jerks on. :)
