  • To be accurate with the 1%, you would need 99 people who don't post on this forum. However trust me when there are many people who DON'T use this forum that are also disappointed.

  • Yep. I can tell you that my friends are already losing interest. I told a couple of them to look up more about it, and now they don't even want to touch it. The couple that already did buy it are stuck in the same boat as me, wondering what the hell happened to the game.

  • Not true. Many of us are at work and while we are at work we try to post concerns to help guide this game to what we were told that it would be. And yes. They read this. Saying the people who don't post all love the game is so unoriginal and false. I Have Friends Who Are Disappointed AND Are Doing Research For Our Next game. They could give a shit less about the forums. The people who post on the forums are fanboys and people who are able to see this game for what it really is. Potentially great but utterly disappointing. To the fanboys I say. Yeah its an okay game but be honest with yourself. You know there are moments when you wished it was more.

  • I just have to ask, what kind of job do you have where you still have time to put 120+ hours into this game?

  • Hell I have a good job and no wife or kids and I still struggle to find that much time to play. That is truly an amazing feat if you actually work 40 hrs a week AND have a wife and kids, bravo to you sir. You must not sleep or something.

  • I work more than 40 hours a week. But i leave work at work. It's nice having a supportive wife. Because i am the sole income provider for my family, my wife takes care of the home front. This allows me all the time I want. It's true I don't get my 8 hours of sleep. My job is easy. I have a management position in the largest intermodal shipping company in the world.(not counting communist China shipping) I am writing this post from the comfort of my private office. So keep looking at my stats trying to make a point that has nothing to do with the topic. Only one Stat matters. winning. And I am.

  • Yeah but this is the internet so there's no reason for me to believe anything you say. For all I know you could've written that from the comfort of your mom's basement.

  • Yes. Because there is a reason to be awake at 7am in my mom's basement. BTW I Live In South texas. We don't have basements here because they would flood.

Movies, as-seen on tv ads, fastfood commercials ect. You get the product and it's a big let down. Nothing is gonna live upto the hype. It's one of the funnest I've played in a long time. It's funny how ppl get all upset because it wasn't as expected because they base it on what they learned 6 months before it comes out, counting down the hours then it comes out. They have this image of god coming down to the developers and handing them it. They put it in and get disappointed. Nothing can live upto that.

  • Fanboy. I make purchases everyday where I get what I expected. Maybe that is why I win at life. I can be honest with myself and others. I can look at someone's work and say "it's okay, but I expect more out of you."

  • there is always people the will refrain from calling customer service or posting on forums in this case if they are disgruntled. but the majority will always go to the appropriate place to file a complain if need be. and there is nothing wrong with adding helpful opinions about what can make this game better in a respectable and no bitchy fashion. and typically if a person doesnt enjoy a game they stop playing it regardless if they go to the forum or not. so if you and your friends are disappointed in the game and still playing it everyday then your lying to yourself. same with every other whiner who says they want a refund or deserve more but already have 100+ hours logged in. Scan over the top 50 posts and see how many are whinny little trolls that feel they are owed something when in reality they aren't owed anything. if you personally built up in your mind this fantasy of a game and are let down with how destiny is thats your fault and no one elses. Destiny has some very solid and fun gameplay, the story is somewhat bland but seriously if you main goal in video games is the story the go watch a movie or something. story is important but id rather a game that lacked story and had great gameplay. the pvp is fun and yes can be frustrating at times but so is every fps, The pve experience can be repetitive to some degree but thats how every mmo/arpg/dungeon crawler is at some point you will have to replay content its how it is.
