So your saying the key people who made Halo from Bungie are also being funded under Microsoft and don't have much worry about publishing and making payments. Then using the same strategy as Bungie when Bungie had Halo, and is doing better then what they were with Bungie? 343=7^3. 343 has been doing it for 4 years cause they have to. Bungie has been doing it for more than 10 years...
Not to mention Bungie didn't lie to anyone, but the "community" lied to each other. Don't think you would count those angry Desticles with high expectations the Community of Bungie.

Bungie lied about Saturn. They also are sneaking bastards who cut content from the game and sell it off as DLC...
-
Edited by Legend To None: 10/2/2014 5:35:43 PMNo they didn't, it was Obvious that it was DLC from the start! Where are you people getting your information! Other guy mentioned a bunch of sources made by the community! I have seen every announcement bungie has made and read em all and now all of sudden you guys are talking about all these other locations as if Bungie confirmed it...
-
Is that why there were in game pics and interviews saying that Saturn was playable? And do you realize how incomplete the story in Destiny is? They cut the stuff that made it good and they're selling it off as DLC.
-
Same reason why Halo 2 wasn't the end of the story and why the Flood Juggernaut was not in the missions. If there is an interview where they mentioned Saturn being playable and if it is DLC they would not have lied...either way I am glad they are running Destiny the way they are. If they were primitive and put every content on the disc then it would not be as interesting in the next 3 years of this game. It's called marketing. They are making the game interesting over the years so we have a reason to keep coming back. Really no reason to complain about a game or company. If it's not your style of game then it's not so quit trying to push it. I got addicted to Phantasy Star Universe demo for awhile which is almost exactly like Destiny. So these kind of games are one of my favorite
-
Oh Bungie lied, openly so. They showed cut scenes, locations, features, mechanics and characters in pre-release marketing that are all gone.
-
You fool, everything is still in the game. They didn't false advertise a thing
-
So Saturn, Story on Mercury, The Crow, playable Reef locations, explorable mountains, race-effecting gameplay, faction wars, Osiris, Seven Seraphs, European Deadzone, Chicago, Lord of the Rings-tier storytelling, more than a few cut scenes and so on are all still in the game? Must have missed them.
-
Edited by Legend To None: 10/1/2014 10:38:24 PMYeah you missed a crap load of information last year! Aldo those items seem like the exact lies people were tossing around with those half assed information.

So these were community fabrications, huh?
-
Like I said, you missed a crap-load of information last year. And yes Saturn isn't anything besides info on the actual planet. An expansion every year and beings that only the introduction is released then there's a ways to go. You don't have to love Destiny, it's just a game aswell. I do not know why you thought these would be in the game when Bungie only confirmed what's in the game now and not what's in the future.
-
Probably because one of the very first things they said in one of the vidocs was you could go to Saturn? and that page has an in-game screen-cap of Saturn. Right here http://www.destinypedia.com/images/9/93/Saturngame.png Usually when a game dev shows something in a trailer or a vidoc and tells you that you can do it, they're telling the truth.
-
Not true, otherwise in halo 4 we'd be able to modify the weapons in our loadouts cause in the trailer Masterchief was screwing an attachment into his pistol.
-
I'm going to assume you're trolling because that was the sticky-detonator, an adhesive explosive device that attaches to a surface after being screwed onto the front...and it's in the game.
-
Edited by Legend To None: 10/1/2014 11:19:29 PMNo it's not because he only had a pistol on him. Also just because you Desticles are iggnorant in the information and how games work doesn't not give a good reason to be all butt-hurt because you need patients.
-
Dude, it was a sticky detonator. He was reloading it at the end of that trailer.
-
He only had a pistol and I don't think you screw on a detonator, you just clamp it on
-
Man you're dense. Please for the love of God just go watch the trailer again.
-
Okay sure, you blow up something explosive and you think it's a sticky...
-
It was a sticky detonator.
