MCC isn't fan service, it's easy money.
When 343 actually bring something new/original and awesome to Halo then I will reconsider their reputation. Until then they are a company designed to ride the idea of someone else to make money, and look at Halo 4; it was a mess. 343 isn't a company that was established to create art, it was manufactured to make money.
At least with Destiny we can see Bungie tried something new. Halo is old news.

But they could have easily just made a Halo 2 remaster and not include any of the other games, then halo 3 in 2 years then halo 4 in 4 years. that would make them way more money

I am calm. This is just the first thing that pops into my head whenever I see people complaining about the MCC in this manner, under appreciation and cynicism. The game is straight up fan service, take what you're given for what it is; some things really don't have to be questioned, sometimes there are good things.

Let's agree to disagree. For me MCC is easy money for 343 and a way to bring people over to xbone for MS. From a business point of view it makes perfect sense. Oh and pro tip; when you call someone a bastard in any context it does not paint a picture of calmness.

If all games are on one system then the fans can't complain about Halo 5 being terrible cause they can always go back to playing their favorite Halo so it's a Win/Win for 343. They are just feeding the wolves..
