Elitism and pretension? Lol. No. I've simply explained that which is. Particularly to someone who may not realize that entitlement to complain in derisive, deragatory, and rather naive manners may not be the best way to have developers pay any attention to the actual meat of your commentary. For trip A titles, there isn't a shortage of a customer. There may be a shortage of polite ones, however. I'll be honest, I'm sure you have a good concern... if you packaged it better, people would pay more attention to it in a more constructive and positive manner. Some people just want to see the world burn. How do I contribute? Design on a couple console games, had my own indie studio for XBLA stuff,, in social midcore now. My contribution is that I entertain people, and have taught a small group of people how to design, helping to create the next generation of game designers. So, all in all, not a huge contribution, but it has granted me perspective that many outside the studio will understand. Don't make the mistake of assuming it's morality, it's perspective and experience. :)
