Bad Juju
Anyone else think this gun sucks? I mean it looks really cool and evil. But for crucible it is horrible. I can't say about vanguard yet, but for crucible I hate using it. Opinions?

17 RepliesI have it. Be patient with it. It's low impact and small magazine makes it frustrating to use...at first. Go level it up against weak opponents. But this become a different weapon with Send It and String of Curses. These upgrades (along with Iridium rounds) turns this gun into a crowd control beast. As long as you are hitting a living target and doing damage, the gun instantly reloads and your ammo supply doesn't decrease. So you can just annihilate groups of enemies and not have to even slow down to reload. Even without the promised buff leveled up it is a really nasty weapon in PvE. And it is also really accurate in hip fire too. So don't give up on it. It'll be worth the hassle you went through to get it and level lit up.

Hmm. I disregarded this gun at first. Though, after analyzing for a bit, I feel this weapon is probably better for PvP than it is for PvE. * Soft Ballistics: "Less recoil. Penalty to Impact." * Hip Fire: "This weapon has bonus accuracy while firing from the hip." * Perfect Balance: "This weapon has extremely low recoil." * String of Curses: "This weapon reloads instantly and increases damage for a short time after each kill." I haven't completely leveled mine yet. Though, I feel the aforementioned talents in tandem with it's high rate of fire, would be ideal for PvP. As long as you can maintain an accurate shot, you're being rewarded with additional damage and a significantly faster reload. Thing is, you're probably going to have to acclimate your play-style to this weapon in a way that most other weapons don't require. This weapon would be good for PvE if the magazine wasn't so shallow. Some of the higher level enemies are bullet sponges, which completely negates the usefulness of String of Curses.

3 RepliesBad juju has so much potential. The artwork and effects on it are amazing, but 15 round mags? Seriously? 5 bursts and i have to reload? I could understand if the impact was high but it is not AT ALL. I forced myself to rank up this weapon hoping it would get better with upgrades and it didn't. Also you can find images where the bad juju had void damage and impact that appears to be 5 times the amount of what it is now. I hear this gun is going to get pumped up but by how much? It is so ridiculously underpowered right now it needs to be taken care of.

Hope it gets buffed tremendously because if i cant even kill a shank with one burst of this gun then u know its crappy

There is a buff incoming for it the need to up damage a bit and increase ammo capacity by at least one more burst.

Even though you get a exotic weapon. It ant the real deal until you lvl up the gun with upgrades

I wrote a review on this gun a while back. It has a steep learning curve and is very unforgiving. But the instant reload is pretty sweet and if you can pair it with abilities that charge super by killing mobs you should be good. You also get a damage buff in addition to the instant reload. The full auto and hip fire feel like a waste tho. Since you 1 want those crits and 2 got all that green crap blocking your view. But a fun gun. Competitive, maybe not so much, but fun. I have seen people dominate in the crucible with it however.

It is pretty crappy. However it's getting a buff, along with Thorn. No idea when though. Doubt even Bungie knows.

6 RepliesIt's crappy, even fully upgraded. Woo instantly refills clip, with free ammo as well, shame that almost everything thats shielded or a boss just makes it a 15 clip average damage weapon

They said they are going to buff it so dont get rid of it yet... At first, this gun does suck... but once you get the accuracy perk and the reload perk it is pretty awesome.

i love it, only downfall is the clip size, but that gets taken care of when you upgrade it.
