You know, I can understand cutting the cutscenes. Because players of today are like this when playing a game with story and cutscenes:
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING! SKIP SKIIIP SKIIIP! WHATS GOING ON!? WHO IS THAT?! WHAT IS THAT?! THIS GAME IS STUPID! LET ME PLAY!"
That's propably why they didn't want to bog us down with cutscenes and stuff. And I can totaly understand that. Because people just want to blow stuff up.

Ofcourse not. But players do have this complaint with the games.

I agree to an extent. Skipping cutscenes cool. It should be there especially the second time around that being said gutting the whole story and giving us what we got is pretty embarrassing on their part.
-
Yeah, it's not a bad feature. Giving how many cutscenes there are however... I don't see the point of skipping these. :p

Edited by AXENIC SECOND: 10/1/2014 12:28:15 AMNo offense, but bullshit! I like stories. I like lore. I like cut scenes. I like Bungie. But I'm very truly disappointed that this game contains none of that. P.S. I also like to blow shit up :)

It's not bullshit, there are players like this. They don't give a damn about story. So I am not amazed if this was the reasoning for bare stripped story. Especialy as you have to do these missions over and over again. I'd love to see more cutscenes thou.

Yes there are players like this, but they are not the majority in Bungie's fan base.

For sure they ain't... but that doesn't mean they ain't the majority of the players.

I hate the part when they complain about the story when all they do is skip and wonder what they are doing and why they are doing it. It's like the guy in the movie theater talking on his phone loudly, and then he tells you to be quiet when you try to confront him about it.

Yeah true asshole.
