Getting to level 30 is dumb.
So after getting to level 29, we are forced to play through the same raid over and over and over again until we happen to get full raid gear? Why is it that after all the things they decided to add into the game (And what they cut-out) that they decide that the only way to max out is to do the same, repetitive raid. Yeah it's fun the first couple of times, but it gets old. Why are we forced to find a group with no matchmaking to get to 30? Feels like this game was released without thinking about the players and only about the money they could make off DLC. Oh wait, it was. *cough* activision *cough*

I really don't know what they were thinking when they designed this, it is almost like none of the developers have ever played an Online RPG before. The PVP side of the game is fun, but the PVE side of the game is just such a fail. I'm sorry but it just is. Look at Path of Exiles map system, look at Diablo 3's Paragon and Rift system, why has Destiny got nothing like any of these? Why is the only Level 26+ Content in Destiny only playable ONCE a WEEK? When I started playing Destiny I always was more interested in the PVE side of the game, but for the past 2 weeks, I feel like on my character there really isn't anything else to do once I finish the weekly Raid and Nightfall, which I usually do the day of reset, the remaining 6 days I really feel no need to log into the game, honestly, what can I do? Bounties for no reason? Patrol for no reason? Strikes for no reason? Grind X for no reason? Once you already have Level 3 Vanguard, there really is no point in doing any of the above. Yeah you could argue you just do it for fun, but who kills endless waves of the same enemies with no goal? I need a goal. I've done the raid multiple times now and so far I've got only the Raid Gloves , god knows how many more times I'm going to have to do the raid to get the full set, but I can honestly say that playing Destiny one day out of seven is really starting to push me away from playing altogether. I really would like them to do [b]something[/b] about this system because I really think it just doesn't work well for this game. Why not have it like Vanguard / Crucible Marks? Where you get "Vault Marks" for completing raid bosses and activities and then have an NPC that sells gear, just make it cost a lot, then let us just play the Raid as much as we want? Why is there no Level 30 PVP Gear? There will be a PVP Mode where items count (Iron Banner), but hardcore PVPers who don't even bother raiding simply will never reach Level 30, wtf? Why is there no "Paragon" or "Prestige" system?! It would be such an easy system to implement that would at least give players something to play for in the long run. I can already think of Prestige rewards: Emblems, Shaders, Class Items, etc. That are only available through Prestige. Going Prestiege should fully reset your character Level and skill trees and is available at Level 20. Prestiege should literally go all the way to Level 100. Getting to Level 100 should give a really BADASS shader. And yeah seriously, just put matchmaking. Half the time I do the raid it's with randoms anyway lol.

I enjoy everytime becoz i play with friends Play mission with my friends make joke Play Crucible to see how they get killed or die fool Play raid to see how idiot they are and still full of laughs Why why why you guys only happy when you getting gears. Leave the game now if you think this game is boring.

Every MMO with a PvE loot system is based on repetitive raiding. You do it once a week then move on to other shit. Learn to video games. The raid gear only affects your PvE and raiding stats. If you only pvp then being level 30 and having bonus damage to oracles doesn't mean shit anyway.....

All valid points but stop and think about why being level 30 matters so badly. It isn't going to alter your current play at 28-29 too badly except for Hard raids. I'm pretty sure at this stage in the game Bungie meant for everyone to chill and take the shards and upgrades as they come instead of mindlessly hack at it until they're upset it isn't fast enough.

1 ReplyAny MMO is going to be like this. You clear the relevant content that week, hopefully get some gear, then do it again next week. That's how this kind of game works. Right now there isn't a lot of content yet. I cleared the raid and nightfall this week. After that, I went and did other things. Try it.

1 ReplyLet's just give everybody every exotic and all raid gear, and an unlimited supply of glimmer, ammo synthesis, and 100 legendary engrams each, why does everybody complain about everything in this game, a game where you have to grind to be good, I'm sure gamestop will give you $30 for our game, head on over.

8 RepliesWell, I'm sure there will be more RAID's and ways to level up more... only if you really want to get to level 30 now, will you have to (unfortunately) repeat the Raid... But yeah, it is kinda sucky I suppose.. (I'm not there yet, only level 26 and haven't even attempted the Raid)

2 RepliesAll this game is, is playing through crap you've already done, over and over and over again... You'll beat the main story missions and strikes, in 3 days or so, and then for the rest of your time playing, you will replay all of those missions, over and over and over and over again, until you're able to do the raid, and then, you're going to do the raid, over and over and over and over again, until you're level 30, and then you'll have nothing at all to do, besides multiplayer. Yay! The game's actual content, lasts 3 days. That's it. The only thing that gives this game longevity, is the multiplayer, and the grind/farm. There is barely any [b]REAL[/b] content offered.

Then yhe whole game is pvp. I just dont understand how a 6 hr story then nothing but pvp is so much fun. I honestly used to play cod a lot till I realized that I spent my money on the same damn game again from last year with just a few extra sprinkles. Personally give me the grind fest for gear. So much fun playing with your friends and laughing at each other over and over for epic failings.
