Ok, yes I hear you. No need to yell. Wait, why are you picking up that knife? NO WAIT I CAN EXPLAIN! Just listen...
All the arguments on weapon nerfing and buffing have been based almost solely on PvP. Nobody ever thinks about PvE.
Now I know how people hate on the Golden Gun in PvE and yes, it is overpowered. "Wait, why is this Hunter trying to nerf his own super? Must be Bladedancer." No I'm not just doing this because I have been killed by Golden Gun. I think it is too powerful in PvP. The duration is too long, and that means I don't have to put any thought into when I activate it. I just run around and I get a kill. Small maps, dude. Not many hiding places.
Solution? A small decrease to duration would make it more tactical, rather that it being a care package you can run around for hours with.
Now on the flip-side, PvE. I've used Golden Gun for a while, and I can say with utmost certainty, it is the weakest PVE super. My goddamn sniper is a better alternative, and it doesn't take twelve years to charge. The range of the Golden Gun is extremely weak, even with range finder on. Instead of using it for bosses, I use all three on a single Fallen Captain, or Vex Minotaur. And forget Reaver Captains on Axis Minotaurs. I gotta whip out that Machine Gun even after I use my super.
Solution? Increase the damage, range and accuracy by about 2.5x. Then replace the Accuracy and Rangefinder perks with something useful. Maybe a health regen upon getting a kill, or a lingering incendiary damage upon impact, or something where if you land all your shots on a single target the last shot does more damage. Like a needler, for those who play Halo.
Anyway, I'm open to opinions. Just say them in a civilized manner. If you don't, you will be consumed by the purple ball.

I agree with everything but I find the duration is too low in PvP. I always activate it then someone swoops in with their super and kills my target so I have to go find another one... Very annoying.
