So all the DLC has been confirmed as being on the damn disc
This is unreal. Making us wait until the end of the year and next year, chopping out parts of the game that are clearly already done and just locked behind invisible walls and BS like that.
This is Capcom and the SFxT debacle all over again, just they've hidden it fairly well.
From the looks of everything on these maps, THIS would have been a full, complete game.
This is incredibly despicable Bungie. Especially since you are claiming that the DLC are so called "expansions", what a load of BS.

im pretty sure all the content they are showing n=might be for the free expansion and maybe they are polishing it, but if not then its bull

I see maps and mode menus with locations on them that aren't in the live game, which isn't compelling evidence anything in those locations is complete. Bit of a jump to conclude that because it's on a bugged out map that it therefore is there and complete in its entirety. Simply put this is not enough information to make an informed conclusion either way.

It's frustrating but there is a bright side. Destiny can be that filler game. It will update in between other games giving us solid entertainment while we wait for other titles. It will be a game we can return to.

Edited by Falcon Punch: 9/29/2014 2:53:04 PMAt least on the Xbox store, and I assume PSN, for the upcoming content in December the file size is a little under 10MB which points towards an "unlock". This type of distribution for DLC is probably cheaper which is why they do it. Granted that will probably change to say a few hundred, but chances are most of the content is already there just no enemy placement/AI/etc.

I like the game but I prefer buy another game Triple AAA, not that dlc shortly content. I expect that Bungie includes during this months new PVE content like hordes mode, survival,... for example.

1 ReplyCould it be that it's just things locked at the moment, but will open up later on, and the dlc is actually that, a dlc to continue the story. Remember it's only been 3 weeks, and already we have others things unlocked, like raids, queens missions, different crucibles that wasn't there before.

Doesnt prove anything other them some icons, there is no evidence of actual dlc on the disc.

Yep, same as most games now days. Well actually the areas are on the disk, I don't know about the written content or cut scenes but most of it is deffence there. Just needs a message from Bungie to unlock it.

I believe it's more Activision than Bungie. Bungie is a company for gamers. Activision not so much.

I get that Destiny is supposed to go on for ten years. Halo has been going on for more then 10 years and is still going. Never have I ever had to buy an expansion pack, 2 months after a release of a halo game, to continue the story. Took a few years and a new console to get more of the story. Even call of duty's attempts at a story dont have expansion packs for their stories and they make you wait 2 years to continue it (since they do that treyarch and infintyward switch off). This is a new fad and its terrible. Let alone making us pay for it. They had plans for this since beta and if they were in such a hurry then give it to us for free then.

Ok sure bro, its possible, but how do you know? Did Bungie come up to you and say, "You know Hou, I think we should sell this game in little pieces to the consumer." ? Maybe they are pacing the release on this content like they did on Vault of Glass? Maybe not. Maybe we should all make assumptions and jump to conclusions and make angry rage posts about how elephants are plotting to take over the world. I means seriously, freaking huge brain and clear signs of intellegence, they could be!
