So all the DLC has been confirmed as being on the damn disc
This is unreal. Making us wait until the end of the year and next year, chopping out parts of the game that are clearly already done and just locked behind invisible walls and BS like that.
This is Capcom and the SFxT debacle all over again, just they've hidden it fairly well.
From the looks of everything on these maps, THIS would have been a full, complete game.
This is incredibly despicable Bungie. Especially since you are claiming that the DLC are so called "expansions", what a load of BS.

6 RepliesJust because it shows icons doesn't mean it's all there. Most likely those are placeholders for content planned. Maybe they were downloaded with the pre-order of the DLC.

Mission markers and such are not clear evidence it's already complete. Also it's a map. The concept is pre existing and makes sense that those simple to program and lock out points would have been done already. And I'm tired of this argument so I'll stop it's pointless to even attempt it since it's clear that everyone simply wants to believe its all true cause it was posted on the web

We're is the confirmation I don't see it I see a anonymous triller spouting conspiracy but nothing concrete just can't get behind some in named troll all call it confirmed plus I always thought of the disc like a launcher kinda like WoW or FF14 with no real content on the discs just techno things I know nothing about while the game is entrenched on servers witch would make sense of what I'm seeing here if there building the content and the game is on a server this is what you would see through the looking glass see everyone has there own theory's that's mine

3 RepliesHoly cow guys - is it possible we stumbled upon the missions and new content that Bungie was planning to release on a weekly basis? This probably has nothing to do with dlc - just like the Venus Raid was "hidden", these are probably all locations we will see in the next two months. I mean, I hate this game just as much as all of you do, but fair is fair!

29 RepliesOkay, this proves nothing; it only proves that the script to ACCESS the DLC is already in the game. That is, the content for the DLC isn't in the game, but the Location Selection Options are. So, theoretically you could Set Destination to one of these places... and nothing would be changed or different as that Content still isnt in the game. Unless we see Physical evidence of the Content in the game, such as a Playthrough or something, than this argument is moot.

I have found/glitched into new areas in the game, some of them for sure part of the DLC, others IDK. Trust me, this stuff is not on the disc. Some of it is, but it is incomplete. You can tell it's incomplete by all the random pieces floating around the map. It's like being in a cluttered halo forge where you threw a bunch of pieces down your going to use but they just float randomly around the map. The content is way to small in its current state to be considered done. Just thought I'd throw that out there. If you want video proof, let me know in the contents and I'll throw some up on YouTube.

2 RepliesI don't get what this is supposed to prove. I see placeholders on a map, not any actual content that is finished. The game launched with the ability to preorder two expansions, so I'm not surprised that there's something in the game files about those places. Did you ever play WoW? If not let me tell you something about it. There were multiple places on the main continents that were sealed off from the playerbase. You could see them on your map, some you could even bug your way into, but you couldn't reasonably go there and even if you did manage to get in there was no content there until the third expansion came out. I've seen placeholders in other games as well. And that is all that this has shown me, placeholders for future content (a lot of it that we already knew was coming). Really about the only thing this shows is that the fallen expansion will have more to do with the reef (something that we could have guessed already, but this confirms it). Oh and that there's two raids planned for The Dark Below. He doesn't even scroll over the king's watch missions. No I'm not defending Bungie. I simply refuse to blindly jump on the hate train. Had the video shown that the areas were already complete and on the disc (like that one guy you can get in ME2 who I forget the name of, but was considered "DLC" even though the game came with a code to unlock him when you bought it from a store) then that would be one thing. But showing icons for future content does NOT prove to me that the content is actually finished.

4 RepliesI brought it on the 2nd day and returned it on the 3rd day. I hated it. I got it about 2 weeks later and gave it another go. I'm now level 20 and taking it back today. For me its the LOUD MUSIC!!! It drowns out everything so I cant hear footsteps, gunshots, voice chat, ANYTHING BUT MUSIC. I'll watch gaming sites for what the next updates bring and when they finally give it a music off option then I will get it a 3rd time, but till then its not for me. There are other better games out and coming out so no loss. And I HATE the fact all the DLC is already on the disc. SO I buy the game and have to pay AGAIN to play what I already own? F! U!

7 RepliesReading threads like this makes me wonder how long some people have actually been playing games... this is nothing new, people! Just because there are ASSETS on the disc for future content updates/DLC doesn't mean they purposely cut content from the game. Seriously.

Been reading a lot of the posts and have been thinking to myself "hey I have a degree I business how would I make a game work for 10 years and still be profitable". Kind of an easy answer you sell it for twice the cost (nearly in this case) of the regular game and than keep selling small pieces of it over those 10 years. This is what has happened in my opinion; the Idea was to sell us half the game up front to "hook" us and than make us purchase the "DLC" ie the other half for an additional cost latter we'll get real DLC and by the end of 10 years well have spent close to 250-400 bucks for this game or about 40 bucks a year. The events are just cute marketing ploys to keep you interested. is a weekly strike mission really another part of the game? NO It's what you already did dressed up with a different hat, yes it is a very nice hat and the hat does come with a free gift (the strange coins) but really it's nothing new. I wish they would have given the whole game and been up front and made us pay the $100 that they needed to make the game and have it be profitable; but than again would as many people have bought it at a transparent $100. I think that most of us know the answer to that question! #lootcave4ever
