I am wondering why bungie won't say what exotic weapon bounties require PVP, I wasted my time on one that as part 2 you have to get a KD of 25/1. Now this might be fine for the folks who do PVP on this game but I don't. I log on and do the PVE parts with my friends and have a good time at it and it is beyond me how they are forcing PVP on you to complete a weapon bounty when they should know some players will not bother with PVP. I have worked for NC Soft, SOE and Blizzard as a QA tester and as a QA lead so I know quite a bit on how things should work for both sides of the PVP/PVE coin. It looks like poor planning on the part of the dev team. Why alienate and force something on half your player base when you could just as easily made a note on the bounty on if it required PVP or not.

Considering that you get one point for a kill and one point for an assist and lose one for a death it is not unreasonable to get I completed in about 5 games if you aren't that good at pvp

I'm not good at Crucible and I got that part done in two games of clash running with friends. It's not hard bro.

It's not a KDR you need but a KDS, of Kill/Death Spread. So you just need to get 25 [i]more[/i] kills than deaths, not 25 [i]times [/i] as many kills.

It's not 25/1. You basically have to have more kills than deaths spread out over many matches. It really isn't all that difficult. I have three exotic bounties and I'm lining them all up for the PVP phase so that I can knock them all out at the same time.

a dubious task is the one that you need a 25/1 KD and the other one is tolands legacy that you have to get 10k points in pvp to advance that one. Look it up on the wiki and you will see. Please do some basic research before calling BS, I know it is a difficult concept to actually look something up instead of needing it to be spoon fed to you.

The maximum amount of time 10,000 points will take is 100 kills...which shouldn't take more than a day of PvP. The maximum amount of time 500 void damage points should take is 100 kills as well, because if you go 1 to 1 in K/D you'll get 6 points per kill and negative 1 per death. And if all you have to do is have a k/d of 25 to 1 over the course of multiple games, the maximum time it should take you to get that is 100 kills as well, unless you suck at the game...horribly.

You suck at math. Firstly maximum mean the upper limit. And you are providing a minimum example. Secondly, Thorns PvP only give 5 points per kill and takes 2 per death. Thirdly, sucking at PvP does not mean you suck at the game, it just means you haven't practiced it a lot, which fits most people who don't like PvP. And finally, the stuff up matchmaking can leave you as the last person in a clash or control match with 6 people on the opposing team. One bad game like that and boom there goes anywhere from ten to fifty hard earned void points. Seriously, think first, then type.

yeah I know tolands legacy, and the 500 points of void damage one.. but neither one of those is as hard as a 25 to 1 kd in PvP.. I did the research and it says 'achieve 25 more kills than deaths', which makes it sound like it doesn't have to all be one life is that true?

It doesnt. Its spread between all your matchs after u get to that part of the bounty.

yeah none of the exotic bounties are really that hard, they are just time consuming.. you can do the 500 void points in 1 hour, I did the 25 strikes in 5 hours.. if you want the bounty you'll get it done. People need to stop complaining about the crucible, it doesn't matter what class you are, you will always have an advantage over someone and they will always have something to take advantage of you.. it's not balancing problems, it's just destiny

I think a of the exotic weapon bounties require PVP. I'm not 100% positive about that though. I also am not a fan of that. I wanted to go all PVE, but I really need an exotic, or legendary for that matter, anything. So I jumped in for the exact same bounty. 25 positive kills to deaths...it sucks. I had 20 after my second match, then I went against a team that dominated the map I'd never seen. Now I am down to 2.
