Welcome to McCryptarch

May I incorrectly take your order today Guardian? Update 1: 300 replies! Wow! Update 2: Edits are now updates. Update 3: Due to our parent companies orders. We are now giving out more legendary and rare tier foods. You're welcome. Update 4: Our company letters for some reason are called Patches, with this one being number 1.0.2. Apparently we have to give slightly better stuff now.

The joking set aside, does anyone remember when bungie said that you would have to fight deep into enemy controlled areas and ancient ruins to get badass exotic weapons? I remember when bungie mentioned thorn, I could have sworn they said that you would get that kind of weapon for a great adventure/exploration or something like that...but it seems the only way of getting awesome gear is just by luck or completing bounties. What I'm getting at is...how can my exotic tell a story? Better yet when ppl ask me how I got an exotic, what am I to say? Oh I completed some ridiculous bounty that took me a few days to do...what kind of amazing story of how you got your exotic is that? See what I'm saying? Having to do bounties...idk it takes away that meaning behind the exotic. I rather be able to tell someone (the following situation is made up by me, none of these enemies or story plot exist) ......................... So I joined up with my friends to explore deeper into the ruins on Mars. We reached some ancient tomb...we battled our way through mass amounts of enemies, slaughtering them without thought until reaching the main tomb. We were then met by (insert badass imagined enemy/boss here) and after almost losing the battle we rose victorious over the creature. As soon as the monster had perished the tombstone that lay in the middle of the chamber opened. Inside rest a weapon....named....Rest in Peace...I grabbed the weapon and immediately equipped it...it's description read, "A peaceful lullaby for those who oppose you" And see now not only does my weapon sound badass but it has a story behind it...it gives more meaning to the acquisition of the weapon. (Also note that each fire team member picked up their own individual weapons that had different descriptions but were all unique)
