I switched from a BT router to some shitty Netgear one I got free with Sky years ago and that seemed to solve the problem. I had the same issues and had tried everything with the BT router but nothing worked. Switched it last night as I was fed up disconnecting all the time and I managed to play 3-4 games in the crucible without getting booted out. Just to add I was only getting booted from the crucible..

It's good for you that you could fix the problem on your end :) But honestly..? When we all buy a console game we shouldn't be forced to change our hardware in order to be able to play that whole thing.. I also tried the same thing and asked my ISP for a new router, but the result was the same :( I miss the times where you could just put console games in your console, press the power button and play the game. Thank's to Destiny I'm really worried about other console games as well. For exsample.. I was looking forward to play "The Division" next year.. but now I fear this game could cause similar problems and there would also nothing I could do about it. And that's something I blame Bungie for. I am a gamer since over 15 years and played over this time a lot of online games in all this time. Never once I've encountered a game that forces so many people into buying a new router because it "maybe" solves the problem. I also never encountered a company that ignored that all those players with their connection problems said, that there are no problems with other online services or games. That's a scandal in my books. Something like that shouldn't happen, but when it happens there should at least be some sort of support. All we've got are these useless help pages on Bungie.net..

  • Thanks man, I just wanted to share this incase it helped anyone else as I've been the same as you, searching for an answer and seemed to just stumble across it by luck and out of desperation. There's nothing worse than looking at a simple bounty which is like "Complete 5 Control Matches" but you can't as you keep getting kicked out! lol Or searching for the "BEE" error only to find that it's a general networking error and you've done everything in the book to try and resolve it. I think you're right, perhaps some games will demand more from us and our hardware. I think Bungie can handle this, but on the other hand, what the hell was it that made it work for me? I certainly don't have a clue, I just switched a perfectly good router for an older one and it's been fine ever since. Sorry I don't have the answer

  • Don't worry about that. It's not your job to find a solution for everyone anyway. That's something those nice people who got 500.000.000 $ for creating this game should do some day.. I think people might like that :D I still appreciate the effort, even if it did not help in my case. There is nothing Bungie seems to do about it, so it's nice a few people out there are sharing their experiences in order to help each other. The funny thing is, normally you - as a player - notice connection problems while playing. The game reacts slower, people run into walls.. all those things happen when there are any connection problems. When I get kicked, everything works fine. There is no lag, I can fire my abilities without any delay and no one teleports around the map. At some point I get just kicked. Also interesting.. yesterday I've played some 3vs3 matches, in one of them I actually had some lags for ~2 minutes. I did not get disconnected.. and this game was almost unplayable for these 2 minutes. There.. no bees came to the rescue.. "I think you're right, perhaps some games will demand more from us and our hardware. I think Bungie can handle this." A lot of people I know had problems with Halo 3 and Halo Reach as well. The multiplayer worked fine, but coop games resulted in 9/10 cases into pure lag. Bungie never did anything about that as far as I know, that's why I don't trust them to do anything about all this now.. not after I've seen how they've reacted the last few weeks. It seems to be a big thing with Bungie and online modes that not work correctly on every system.. while - I can't say that often enough - other online games work.. :-/
