Plain and simple, if I was rewarded better engram drop rates for doing hard strikes, beating bosses or just killing higher level adds, I'd do it. it would be more enjoyable. Until then, I'll farm the cave for engrams. Why would I spend literally double if not triple the time for -blam!- all? The problem isn't the cave farmers it's the lack of reward for doing end game content. Why don't you go sit infront of bungie HQ rather than in a cave grieving other players accomplishing nothing. Edit: this isn't aimed at the author, it's aimed at everyone whining about people using the cave.
