The Destiny disk currently in your console will not be constantly updated for 10 years. Bungie and Activision simply signed a contract saying that they will work on the Destiny franchise together for 10 years.
That means more games (prob Destiny 2 and 3, at least) and countless paid expansions throughout the next 10 years.
You didn't just pay $60 for a 10 year game. You basically paid 60 for a demo of this supposed 10 year franchise, and they're already promoting the hell out of these expansions that we have to pay for, just so we can finish the incomplete story that we just dropped $60 on.

I disagree because it's always possible to add content and dlc over a ten year span. I bet there is game out there that has and maybe in wrong. But for a game with full content on release date is just like any other game. And what would be the point of another disc part2 or 3? What wrong with being innovative?
