To be completely honesty i don't understand everybody debating the degree of "how ethical cave farming is" i see many players doing this and can't for the life of me understand why? Personally to me im sure standing in one location firing aimlessly into a dark cave is more exhilarating then finishing a nightfall. Little insight on my experience with destiny i put in work the first few days pregame hype i suppose. Now i get on after a day of work join up with some friends play the daily mission maybe a strike and play the crucible until 11pm or so and go to bed. Now everybody is saying legendaries are impossible!!!!! Now im sure i've played more then others and i can assure u there r plenty that have played more then me, i have one exotic body armor and the rest is legendary i have 5 legendary weapons one auto rifle, a fusion rifle, a shotgun, a LMG and a rocket launcher, i also have an exotic fusion rifle, sniper rifle, pulse rifle, and 2 exotic LMG's... thats just on my hunter i have equipment for the other 2 classes as well and not once did i cave farm just from casual play. But from experience i can say i seem to get a lot better gear from changing up my activity i noticed more legendary engrams from completely story mission and strikes with friends then playing solo. Idk if i still have readers at this point lmfao but keep ur chin up and cycle what game modes u play do some bounties and see if ur luck changes while having fun with friends, worst case scenario your right back to firing aimlessly into a cave. Have fun destiny lovers

Well you kind of need to have better equipment aka farm to even have a chance at the nightfall raid...

I agree but like i said I've never farmed caves or spawn points and in my opinion been pretty successful with gear. Ill admit its extremely frustrating to turn in a legendary engram and see a blue item or god forbid a item for a different class as my current. But i really just made getting that exotic LMG so worthwhile. After a point half the fun its expanding ur character if it was meant to be really easy there would be 50 levels

My biggest issue with crucible is I finished first twice yesterday by a lot in two rumbles and I got nothing but the guy last and second to last got stuff. Watched a guy join with a minute to go in a domination and he had 1 kill 3 deaths and got a blue. The crucible drop system is by far the most annoying part

Yea i get the struggle ive gone 27 and 2 in the crucible and didn't even get a shader. In games like this i find its best to just play. Get 2 friends do some skirmish its fun get ur mind of the legendary items a bit and with the same friends do strike mission. I find cycling improves ur odds. I was doing this and with a friend of mine we got 7 legendary engrams between the 2 of us in 4 stikes. And when u get a legendary don't quit and go to the tower, PLAY THROUGH, do 2 or 3 more strikes cuz thats when loot just starts building then go baco to the tower with 10 blues and 4 purple
