Well there's been talk about ancient creatures on Venus. Wolves in the cosmodrome patrol. Giant worm on mars.

That sounds like a reference to Ragnarok. Ancient creatures: Jotnar, Wolves: Fenrir, Giant worm: Jormungandr. There's a bit of Norse mythology referenced in Destiny.

That sounds awesome and it would be cool if it was true. In the Grimore there's a card for "Ancient" Vex.

Each of the bosses in the Black Garden represents a Vex model from the past, present and future. Also I believe there are precursors and descendants within the Vault of Glass.

Might be referring to the Vex in the Vault of Glass. During the Atheon fight you can't sent to the past where there's ancient vex, and sent to the future where there's futuristic vex.
