So... where's the full game?

....... Please don't tell me that this is the full game..... My god, what happened Bungie?! Did Activision point a gun at you telling you to rush out an incomplete game?!... So we can pay $20, wait no $35 for an expansion pass!.. Seems like this is a pattern with every other company.... Can you imagine playing Super Mario 64 and having to pay for each map they have made?! This is ridiculous! I can't even see the pile up of cars in Old Russia shown from E3! I was able to see it in the alpha, but not the full game?! What the actual F@ck! I was told that everything I can see, I can go explore that, but instead I'm greeted by a message saying "TURN BACK"...-_-.I also remember someone saying "I still get lost in Old Russia"..... Ummmm who would get lost? The map is so small, I memorized each location in under 3 hours. Kings watch, Is not even open in the full game, so do we have to pay $35 for more of Old Russia? So far the game has been disappointing, as far as launch day. For those who didn't want to read my rant here's a summary: Pros: - great visuals, textures, lighting and graphics - Art, whom ever created these beautiful worlds better get a raise - Gameplay, is smooth as butter -Sounds/ music are amazing! Every step I take has a different sound - Great AI (To me the enemy's feel alive) Cons: -PVP needs work -Exploration Is limited -weapons look the same -story didn't have to end -Exotic guns need to be rewarded by searching out in the wilderness, not simply buy it from xur. -the last city is unexplorible -The looting system is weak -No private matches -No communication what so ever -Chaotic Multiplayer -Overall not a good start. 6.5/10 from me

  • So, I don't understand how this game could have been rushed - they took ME3, Borderlands, Shadowrun, and mashed them together with design and mechanics taken straight from Halo. It doesn't look like they did anything from scratch. I said that to say this - there is no excuse for the flaws in this game or charging $60 for an incomplete and flawed game and another $35 for the stuff that should be there to begin with. Don't get me wrong - I enjoy the game. I don't think it's terrible. I just expected more from Bungie and Activision after all the hype and promotion. It doesn't feel like a seamless MMOFPS - there's FPS with MMO elements, but everything just feels small and limited. I've been waiting for that seamless MMOFPS that actually felt like one since reading a 2005 issue of Game Informer and reading about it for the first time. Unfortunately that game never came to pass and every studio who has tried to make one since has gone under, sold the project, or failed on execution. If you make the game, you set the scope, so no excuses please. This is not a new company with a new idea.
