I'm happy with my purchase but I can understand some frustrations about it. I'm addicted to loot games though so maybe that's why I don't mind. I think if the lore was in game people wouldn't be as upset about the story. Dark souls is a recent game that comes to mind which tells its story from items and not really the gameplay.

Dark souls was my addiction before destiny launched, that's why I appreciate it

Yeah I loved Dark Souls for many reasons but one of the biggest reasons is because it made me want to read up on it and try to figure out what's going on with the story. I think that's what Destiny may be leaning toward but regardless I'm having fun.
