While I admit I would gladly take some real nice armor... I don't know that I agree they should make a major change. 1 thing I feel should change is that I don't think things should downgrade. A rare shouldn't become uncommon or even whit in some cases. I can only imagine I would be grumpy if I had a legendary become an uncommon. But at the same time I have favorite guns that I use those uncommon to upgrade . If I got a more powerful pulse riffle I would have no need for my old pulse rifle till at some point I just have the most powerful pulse rifle on the game. If that happened after a week it would take away some of the hope for rewards I have. The only time I have been truly pissed was when I , playing as a warlock, was rewarded armor better than what I currently have on. Why would that piss me off you ask ? .... it was for a hunter! After that I bitched. I moaned. Then I played more. I don't really think that anybody should have this game concurred after a week myself. If you had the best armor and guns , your done with the story line. Crucible is just about all that's left for you to do at that point. And you would just destroy everybody. Yes I realise there are no level advantages, but, there are definitely equipment advantages. I do a million times better against other players now than a week ago. I'm almost level 22 with pretty decent armor and I just acquired the stranger's rifle. Since I got it I am killing averaging 15-25 kills (depending on the match) . A week ago my average was maybe 5 if I was lucky . I was shooting people and just about nothing would happen. I would literally unload a clip to take maybe a quarter of their life. Some of the difference I credit to becoming better personally as well. But I have seen me and my friend unload a ridiculous amount of ammo on a single guy at the same time and I ended up killing us both after he killed the other guy he was focused on. My overall point is that I personally think its to early to have such a demanding attitude. I mean no offense to you personally but its literally everyday that I see people saying they don't get "enough" legendary or exotic items. They are called that for a reason. How exotic is something if literally anybody can just find an exploit at a cave in a world were your just destroying level 5-10 enemy's. I'm sorry but at that point you don't deserve even an uncommon! I hope if they do change it that it has something to do with the difficulty it was to get it. I could see if your getting high end engrams from a high difficulty enemy. Its annoying to finally kill a giant ogor and get a level 14 set of gloves. But you move on and try again. You find another mission. You meet another person to play with. I just honestly can't conceive being mad I don't have the best shit after its been a week since I spent $60 on myself. I have a game that I'm gonna play for quite awhile and I want to achieve some awesome armor in a month or 2 still. And frankly even if you were able to get the shit already, you would be bitching about bungie not dropping new stuff cause your game is old and you need something new. Half of the people with this issue are gonna get the next "best thing ever" when it comes out in 5months. But in the meantime they will badmouth the company for not catering the game they designed to meet their criteria. Like I said before I really think its way to early to be to to pissed about not having it all. Everybody is entitled to their opinion obviously but I think people have lost site of certain aspects that define quality.

 • I don't have a demanding attitude I am just saying that I don't want this game becoming nothing but sitting and shooting into caves and running in circles for chests to obtain said loot. I know that's kinda far fetched, but it could happen. Also, I am not a demanding person. Am I demanding they change how the loot system works? No. Would I be thrilled if they decided to change the way the loot system works? Yes. Thing is, can play a game until the end of time as long as the game has a really good infrastructure and basic needs are met for the game to run smoothly. I played Halo 3 almost exclusively for 2.5 years. Why? Because the game was simple, yet I felt very satisfied after leveling up into a new skill group. I started playing Halo pretty often when Halo 3 was the newest game in its franchise and I was horrible at the game. However, I kept grinding out games daily, because it has gave me a gratifying sensation every time I ascended into a new, more skillful group of players. That satisfied me because I knew I became more skillful in PvP. Also, you could rank up to higher groups regardless of your skill because you could rank up through playing a lot of online games. I had take that route a few times and play 150 games at least to rank up. Regardless of how I got to the higher rank, I had high satisfaction knowing that I was more skillful at that point than I was 150 games ago. The last thing I will say is I wish to see Destiny try and find a great middle ground between skill and the random way the loot system works. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing the loot system in PvP based off consistent displays of great skill or through a lot a grinding for people who aren't as good. If PvP created to loot system to cater towards those who show said skill rather than have as much of a chance of getting something that is good as the guy that did nothing but dance in the back of the map.

 • I know you specifically weren't overly demanding . I should have clarified that more. I did think you wanted it changed or else though. That's the impression I got from you title. You weren't even close to the level I have seen some people comment though honestly. I have seen some people say things like " if it doesn't change soon I'm done with this game n I'll play cod". From your title I can almost guarantee some of those people will look into your comment with a "ya , screw bungie" attitude. Most of the feelings in my comment were directed towards them . I think we are on the same page as far as if it would get changed. Some people act as if everybody should just be handed it when they ask. I feel like people shouldn't even be able to increase their chances just by hitting up earth and farming it. Not all players are doing that but there are many who do and that puts them at an advantage over those who don't sit in the same spot for hours (5hrs a day in front of 1 cave I saw 1 player mention) just taking candy from babies . Me and my buddy have played strikes that we set the difficulty high enough that it took us an hour or 2 to get through it. If we are playing a level 24 strike we should get more than those dudes on earth cave 101. You said yourself originally that you love the game and I couldn't agree with you more on that. Only difference is I'm on ps3 and never had enough time with halo to appreciate it like I have with destiny. I really could care less if things change cause I will have more reason to play it longer. I'm progressing to a point were there won't be much difference between my character and that guy who was lvl 25 in the first week. But if I start getting rewarded better for a bigger challenge then hell ya!
