So Why Do You Die In The Crucible?
I'm curious to how most people did in pvp I'd say a mixture of 1 and 3 and 5 for me what about you guys?

Also, kill trading and occasionally being generally oblivious to enemy players. I have noticed an increase in enemies not showing up on the radar. No red at all and then, BOOM, Titan smash or shotgun blast. It's not cloaked Hunters either...

Because someone has killed me....or I've killed myself....I don't see much else killing ppl in game...its not like giant bears and tigers are hunting ppl down....

3 RepliesI do ok sometimes and I get my ass handed to me others. Just feel like there something I'm not getting about PvP in Destiny. I've played hundreds of hours of CoD, so I'm skilled enough to know what I'm doing, but if I die by 1 maybe 2 shotguns blasts, I'm like cool I'll try that, run up on a guy 5' away and shot only to do 1/3 damage to their shield, but I get three shots from and auto rifle and I dead... I just don't get it...

Players blame the weapon and/or classes, gear and so on but in fact the higher latency player has a distinct advantage. That is bad because besides of a bad connection it also allows lag switches and anything that hogs the bandwith to be used. The netcode needs to be fixed first before anything else to even come in question. The matchmaking system needs to be made based on players with similar ping values, if anyone's ping spikes during the match they need to be disconnected immediately from the session. As long the game continues as is, everything else it's just assumptions, any OP seeming imbalances like classes, skills, supers, weapons or other things not working are most likely related to the lag.

How long my mates can hold out until I get around. C. Who get's the element of surprise, and finally D. How does my team react when everyone points their guns away from my comrades suddenly realizing my shenanigans. But for the most part I end up causing some of that lovely chaos behind the lines. Suddenly see a green dot disappear behind you from the motion tracker? That may be me if you don't kill my team mates fast enough.

I was coming in here to click the "every way possible" option but then realized this is a "why I think I die thread" for the people who cannot accept that people are better than them . BTW you missed "'the other person was lucky'" selection... which is (I am pretty sure) how I get most of my kills.

I've never died because someone was better than me. I only ever die to supers.

A majority of the time that I die when I actually feel like playing it, I die from lag. Nearly a dozen post mortem kills. Know how I got them? They were melee kills.

I meetbsobmany peeps with supers and that I only play on Fridays, Weekends and occasionally Tuesdays which means Im not as good as other people although I got it on day 1 and Im lvl 22
