I'm curious to how most people did in pvp I'd say a mixture of 1 and 3 and 5 for me what about you guys?
-
Good to see most people being honest.
-
I usually die because of some OP warlock or titan with an OP shield and a fusion rifle or shotgun. Seriously take the F@cking shield out of PVP!
-
60% - ganged up on 30% - Shotgun/fusion rifle campers 10% - Heavy weapons
-
Got a combo of 1 and 2 for me with an occasional bs wtf how did he survive that deaths thrown in
-
Other (please state why):
Easy. I played Armored Core for years, and it has a lockbox/autoaim system. I'm not good enough to aim at people using a little gunsight yet. Thus, "It's a n00b - DOGPILE!" has been my fate in the few Crucible matches I've played so far. If I have a good match I manage to draw attention away from the star players long enough for them to get some kills (or relic captures, etc) and carry the match. Of course, I've also played the squishy classes (Warlock and Hunter) exclusively so far in PvP. I do have a L20 Titan with literally NO light gear, and neither subclass tree complete. I might do better with a full Striker tree to choose from and good gear to back it up. Strikers seem quite awesome in PvP if played right.

Ive watched people walk right over my sensor grenades and they don't even blow up I usually play rumble, last week i had an incident where i got the last kill, the points didnt update for me, so i stood there waiting for the points... and then the guy in second place comes up and shotguns me in the back of the head, his points automatically update and he wins the watch. At the end the scoreboard showed i had more points than he did, but he was the winner... u would have been mad but i got a legendary engram in 2nd place and he got nothing lol Loot systems eh

1. Auto rifle 2 Fusion Rifle 3. Rockets 4. Hunter arc dancer
-
How long have you got? Most my deaths though are by an auto and a fusion zapper. The rest of them are slow ass reactions.
-
The first two are the main reasons, but I'm surprised at how often i forget what I'm doing and revert to halo-press-B-to-melee and die.
-
My meleeholism gets the best of me. On the other hand a teammate and I literally ganged up and punch a guy to death one and it was the funniest damn crucible kill EVER.
-
I died because I like to be different and use a pulse rifle/hand cannon instead of an auto rifle.
-
I'm curious to how most people did in pvp I'd say a mixture of 1 and 3 and 5 for me what about you guys?
Purple snot bubble of doom kills me a lot

Edited by jaybizzle704: 9/22/2014 8:24:37 PMI have not completely leveled up my hide n seek 42 and comedian legendary shotguns. :^)
-
I rarely play PVP, but when I do I make sure to bring my slow-ass pulse rifle.
-
sometimes the enemy player is better than me, face to face showdown but other times they get me in the back when I'm in a firefight. My reaction: Blam! noob, I will hunt you down.
-
I die a lot because I derp into a situation I should avoid. I also die a lot because 10 years of MMO gaming pretty exclusively has stripped me of my ability to actually aim at my target (wtb tab targeting!), and the other guy has no such handicap. But mostly just because I suck.
-
Sucks bc for the first couple days my hands were in CoD mode so I would push the analog in to try to knife. Funniest thing to all my friends
-
One hit kill bs
-
All the above
-
Mostly 2, with some 1 sprinkled in when I get outplayed. I'm a fairly aggressive player, so I sometimes find myself up against less than favorable odds. Sometimes I make the play and get the multikill, sometimes I get ventilated.
-
THEY CAME FROM BEHIND!!!!
-
Because *usually* I suck. Occasionally I'm surprisingly good. I'm very hit and miss.
-
I'm pretty awful at pvp. So defiantly no 1. On the odd times I actually do, do well my normal reaction is to say to myself "hell my team sucked" rather than deluded myself that I'm any good.
-
It's usually because my bloodlust temporarily outweighs logic and tactics...leading to occasional bad decision making.
-
Edited by Vaneera: 9/22/2014 8:11:36 PMMy #1 death reason? Fusion rifles. Point blank? Fusion rifles. Medium range? Fusion rifles. Long range? Fusion rifles.
-
Fusion rifles, shotguns, and rocket launchers. 90% of crucible players use them and they require 0% skill
