I'm curious to how most people did in pvp I'd say a mixture of 1 and 3 and 5 for me what about you guys?
-
Some how about 30% of the time I die seems to be from attacking someone only to find out a second later that 2 more enemies were right behind him. So gnaged up on is probably how i die the most, followed closly by other person got the drop on me/was better.
-
I often die because of lack of teamwork, but damn, it's hard in the crucible for a Warlock. Not trying to whine, but hunters are MADE for PvP. That damn bladedancer can apparently take a shotgun to the face.
-
Very rarely do I lose in the Crucible, but when I do its because I DC'd.
-
I would say it depends on the game mode. In free for all I die alot from the shotgun. Its a mixture of everything when it comes to the other game modes. Lag, supers, shotgun. I do believe skill plays a big part of it. I can be in a lobby where I can go on a 16 kill steak and the next lobby I can just down right get owned.
-
Other people shoot me? -__-
-
In a single 1v1 shoot out I'd say I win about 90% of the time. Otherwise I'm killed because of some guy sneaking up on me (there are ZERO safe spots on ANY of the maps) or a shotgun. I can't turn the camera fast enough to retaliate with a melee attack a good 95% of the time which leads to more unnecessary deaths too.
-
Whenever I get a shoulder charge kill, I have to get MORE. Usually dying in the process.
-
Shotguns, shotguns everywhere. That is all. I'd rather have a bunch of fusion rifles than shotguns in the game
-
Fusion Rifle. Honestly, in the Crucible I can usually take on three players at once fairly efficiently. It is surprising how often I go into those situations and walk away unscathed. What gets me most often is simply getting one shotted as I try to engage a target I find on radar, or when I turn a corner to kill someone and they turn out to be blade dancing. Also, any firefight with a gunslinger's special. I need to hit them 3-4 times with my handcannon while they only need to hit me once. Lame.

Walk into own trip mine grenade... With golden gun active... twice...
-
Sniped with a fusion rifle or mutilated by bladedancer

Edited by CybLigeR: 9/23/2014 1:58:24 AMMy reason for death in the Crucible is a bit unorthodox to others. I die so that I may show my TRUE FORM to the lower feeble classes and watch them fear and cower as I reborn from the grave in a grossly incandescent light showering them with the glorious flaming suns I toss casually from my hands. I'm a Sunsinger by the way for those who are wondering what this ramble is about. Oh and if we meet and matchmaking and I die and you don't see me reborn well that's because it was total BS....not cuz your better :(
-
*shotguns kid in face* *kid empties his whole clip into me and I drop* *kid drops after he kills me*
-
Not any of these reasons necessarily exept ganged up on. I mainly die because the other person got the jump on me, but that does not necessarily mean they are better...
-
Because my shields and life were gone....and lag
-
I do not simply die in the Crucible, I let the other players catch up to my score before d/cing. But seriously, 9/10 I die because of serious internet issues and then disconnect from the game.
-
Corner campers with shotguns, fusion rifles, and rocket launchers.

now that i'm considered high level and actually FEEL overpowered playing as a Titan is extremely easy and somewhat versatile; I honestly see other Titans and Hunters as targets not threats. The striker class specializes in close quarters combat and agility. Legendary weapons pretty much give me all the advantage I need. What's funny about Destiny netcode is you can tell if someone is a laggy -blam!- just by noticing the hit marker numbers don't pop up, then all you have to do is run away until someone else kills them honestly.

1, 2 and 3

People that waste their super on one person even though its not a plausible situation... makes me laugh most people don't know how to use their super in the correct situations. lol
-
I do well against disorganized, strength of the wolf players, because I'm not a huge team player myself. One-on-one, I rarely die. When the other team works together, I still get kills, but I die much more often too. My score doesn't really decrease, but the amount my team wins by decreases a good amount. (This is all assuming there aren't any incredible players on the other team, of course.)

SHOTGUN 👀😭😭😭😭😭
-
Because I hate First Light (not for vehicles, those are rare enough to avoid. It's because half the times it's snipers, the other half it's shotguns, and no middle ground), and the earth map that isn't Rustyards, because it sucks too. And because everyone dies at some point in multiplayer games. Just a given when everyone respawns.
-
Because I would go on a killing spree protecting the flag in control, enough so that eventually everyone I kill heads right back for me and I have to fight like 4 guys at once. I usually manage to take one or two down before they get me ;)
-
Cuz I suck at pvp
-
Quite honestly I haven't played many first person shooters or RPG's. I'm almost lvl 25 but that's been based on very slow progression. I'm learning as I go and I was so excited to come out on top for the first time ever in a Rumble a few days ago, just barely. People are better than me and that's okay, I'm getting there. Quite enjoyable.
