Thank you captain obvious but that does not mean that the game as a whole is a disappointment. If I wanted a story I'd buy a book. Destiny is not a book it's a video game and that provides multiple types of entertainment, not just story. His opinion of the story might if been negative but that doesn't not mean the story was bad at all. The game is fun and beautiful with high replay value and those are all great things that you don't need a story for. The game is so early in it's life too, how can you say the story sucks when you have yet just begun to scratch the surface of the destiny world? That's just crazy

I've noticed a lot of people complaining about the game ONLY play pve. They have all blue gear on for the most part. (Aka the OP) Can't join or complete raids or nightfall strikes. I think people are more upset by their own shortcomings than they are in bungies supposed failures

Yeah but a book is nothing but story. It's a horrible comparison. If you buy a video game just for the story then you're an idiot. If you're so disappointed with the story then bring the game back and get off the forums, simple as that. Or better yet, go make your own game that has an amazing story and is better than destiny. If not then I guess you're just stuck here complaining like a whiney bitch 😷

The ignorance is strong here. First of all I didn't say anything is wrong with the Gane play, I think it's fun. Second of, there's nothing wrong with buying games for story. Third, you have no idea what going on in my life, I be doing just that. Gearing up to produce quality material.

Complaining isn't going to make the story any better for ya, sorry mate. Fourth it's still a video game and it's not a book. You can not compare the two. They are polar opposites, especially in story telling. You don't know what you're in for until you finish a book. A video game is all virtual, you can decide what you look like and where you go, you can't use your imagination like reading a book. Although you can decide what happens to a point in video games. So please just go read a book and learn something.
