I don't understand how people allow themselves to get so excited for games that are clearly going to be disappointing...

Because they watch every single trailer and read every little update the developers release, which creates an expectation of some incredible be all and end all of games, when that is an impossibility

True, but for games like Titanflop and Watch Doges, I just don't understand how they can get so hyped. Maybe I'm just saying all this 'cause I learned my lesson with Halo 4... -
Well I learned my lesson with Reach haha, so now all I ever do is watch trailers just to learn the basics of what the game is about, and then if I like that, I'll get it.
