Something is wrong with you. The game is 2 halves. Nothing is mandatory. No one forces you to play Crucible. One half is the RPG aspect and the other is the Crucible PvP aspect. This lets all kinds of fans enjoy the game, and you can get rewards for either one. If you want vanguard marks do vanguard bounties and get vanguard gear. Crucible gear is gear ideal for crucible. Vanguard gear is gear ideal for PvE. I dont get what you have to complain about.

I did, and I completed it. I got the Thorn and let me tell you, it came with a terrific story of how I got it.

Trust me you'll hate the journey of getting your exotic, but once you get it, you'll love flashing it around way more.

I preferred the journey of me deleting the bounty and going back to having fun

Quit whining. The bounties are just as fun as they can be challenging. Whine about exotics, but don't do the bounties for them... That's an double negative if I've ever read one. I've gotten 2 different exotic chest plates for hunter, and have 3 exotic weapons. Only 1 had to do crucible to get.
