Part of what I like about Destiny is the lack of open chat. There's nothing more annoying than "listening" to people just sitting and talking about whatever they please. And yes, I know it can be turned off, but a game should not be a place to discuss politics or flame/troll. If you want to communicate, join a clan who talk on skype or whatever while playing. It's so annoying when some random stranger I don't even know tried to talk to me.
