Walk into the cave. Sit down in the cave so enemies can't spawn. Go to lunch

Question. Was this nerfed/fixed? I sat down by some guardians today who were shooting into the cave and no loot dropped. But as soon as I started shooting, loot dropped. And I got 3 legendary engrams in 10 minutes.

Doesn't stop it at all. Only momentarily.

1 ReplyI've had a go at the cave farming because the reward system on here is joke. Read last night about two guys doing a raid and defeating the boss with a 150 kills between them and some guy joined right at the end did not get any points or kills at all and got 2 yes 2 rare items while the other 2 that grinded the strike got an uncommon item each.

All this does is invonvience as you simply jump to orbit log out and log back in and you end up a different server, I hope your console over heats and fry's itself once your warranty has expired cause you leave it on too much.

6 Repliesy do so many ppl hav problems with ppl who want to farm??? its by far the best way to get good weapons and armor fast and once u get around lvl 24 it becomes hard to get better stuff without farming... still difficult with farming too but still its better than doing the crucible over and over again cause lord knows the loot system on there is so random that u could get absolute crap all day long

This would not work if you are gone for too long as the game kicks players who are inactive after a certain amount of time.

Heres the thing about people who sit in the cave to stop the farming- they get reported for disrupting how i want to play and for being unsportsly behavior- so my warning back to you, you sit in the cave, you get reported

5 RepliesI don't see how it effects your game one bit. Did it once three mins later I was bored I walked away. Was on sparrow today looked at my left oh there is 8 people farming the cave. /me keeps going Problem solved. Winging about it will not get anything done And sitting in the cave will only get you reported An a possible ban on the cards. Then who has egg on there face ?

2 RepliesYou can't stop it. Bungie would have to patch stuff like this otherwise you're wasting your own time. In addition to that, there are spots in missions that you can do solo that have the same style of loot farming just like the cave is. My point is you cannot stop it. Good luck trying.

5 RepliesGood grief. Let people play how they want. Don't let others bother you. It's their game too. If the game wasn't always online you wouldn't even know what they were doing. Ever notice the people farming Terramophous (however it's spelled) with the Conference Call in borderlands 2?? Probably not beside they could do it offline, and do it without you even knowing. Who cares.

2 RepliesGreat equip doesn't make you a great player. So IMHO it's better to "farm" slowly in crucible/strikes (and enjoy mybe :D) and make some extra "exercise" than be full legendary on week 2 (for what?) and playing like a noob. Just a general tought anyway (don't feel offended). Ppl have their reasons and i really don't care about cave (they don't hurt anybody, and it's not like cheating... just a little sad to see, but bungie will fix it eventually).

3 RepliesPeople who have the head strong attitude to "do right" and play the game to get loot feel like they are getting shafted by farmwrs who sit and shoot and loot. To me farming is ok, if that is how you want to get gear then so be it. Id rather play the game and have fun getting my loot. I have tried to farm and just simply cant do it, its just too boring.
