If Bungie wanted to stop it, they would patch it. Easiest way to do so without affecting the player experience in the area, place a terrain object in front of the cave which blocks line of sight from the distant areas of the map.

It's funny you try so hard to stop it, including wasting your own time just to do so

Farming is part of the mmo game genre. So it's a legitimate way of obtaining items and gear you want and leveling your character.

If you do this, you're a bitch.

The people who are against it, its not about the farming itself, its about the lack of effort required to do so. I would think that much is obvious but everybody who farms this spot seems to act like this main point doesn't exist. Yes, some people are going to have an issue if we feel the best items in the game should take, oh well you know, some actual effort? Sitting in 1 spot shooting at a cave shooting enemies before the barely even spawn is definitely not something I'd be proud of. But thats just my style. Of course in real life, we would prefer to put in as little effort as possible to obtain the things we want but this is supposed to be a game, its supposed to be competitive and fun. Where's the competition if everyone is running to the same spot to obtain their items? I mean, after getting your gear like this, who gives a damn if I come across you and you have 6 legendary items. I automatically don't have as much respect for what you obtained because I know you took the shortcut........All the children whining about how rare legendaries and exotics are......Well no shit!! They're supposed to be rare...That means, when you actually find your 1st one, there should be some excitement, some novelty for it. But the way you guys do it just cheapens the whole thing. What's the point of having "rare" items in the game if people are using some shortcut to make them NOT rare? Now, to me this is just basic logic but then again, different people have different definitions of what a "challenge" is and what "rewarding" means...
