Its not an exploit. I know that for a fact. Its a way to get gear. Have you ever played an mmo? Didn't think so. Go back to PvP jackass.
These threads have been done to death, nobody cares about your opinion.
This isn't English class, I'm not going to cite my sources. Besides, every result on google would be on a forum just like this. So I'll give you my reasons. 1) Its simply a way to get gear. Its difficult getting gear through strikes and pvp. So farming is a viable option for those of us who don't want to deal with the cod fanboys or play 30-60 minutes with people who leave you all alone to fight the boss. 2) Its still not easy. Farming takes a LOT of patience. About 80% of your drops are going to be uncommon. 19% are likely going to be rare. And 1% (if your lucky) will be legendary. Not to mention the cryptarch who may or may not even give you the right class once you decrypt it. 3) If bungie even cares, why is it still around? The first patch of the game came out hours after the release. If they cared, it would be gone. 4) Its the same as an MMO. Destiny is (technically) a "Shared world shooter." If you've ever played an mmo, you would know getting good gear is very difficult through the normal gameplay. So we farm. It just helps us get closer to having some sweet gear. Although destiny isnt an mmo, it still has similar aspects.
If you don't like it, advanced warfare comes out in like a month. Go play that.
Edited by RagedHalomaniac: 9/21/2014 6:22:56 AMLol I never said I didnt like it. Im doing it right now! But to say that it isnt an exploit is ridiculous. What you just told me has nothing to do on whether it is an exploit or not. Except maybe the "why isnt it gone" one. An exploit is something that was not intended to be done by the developers (in this context)and is being done for profit. (Without there being errors in coding, map design etc. As that would be glitching.) Its pretty safe to say that this wasnt meant to be done. Dont you. In other words taking advantage of an error of the developers that wasnt a coding issue or anything of the like

That part about something the developers didn't intend to be done is bollocks! Look at wow. Can't remember the guys name but a DK managed to solo kill a raid boss from the previous tier that was meant for 10 people. It's not exploiting, it's a clever twist on game mechanics within the reasonable boundaries. That's all.

Edited by RagedHalomaniac: 9/21/2014 3:43:12 PMSo youre saying that getting a kill from a lower level enemy isnt an exploit. Well youre right about that. I never said the game devs hated that you did that. But they did not intend for that to happen. They might be doing it right now for all we know
