In my comment to KERplunKIN, I said a way to deal with that would be that the seller doesn't get the actual currency that the buyer spent, he simply gets whatever he would get from dismantling the gear.

I am not hating i am being serious, so its just pointless recycling for the "seller" and others can just farm glimmer get to 20 and buy their way to 26+? I dont like the idea if people buying their gear in the sense of like app games where the dominant best people at app games are all people that pump in $100s of dollars to be the best at an app game. I know we wouldnt be using real money but the premise of buying ur way to 28 like kills the whole point of grinding and farming for gear wether it be doing the crucible, strike playlist all day long or literally farming. It just like completely defeats the purpose of the game

You must be misunderstanding me. It is impossible to purchase exotic or legendary stuff for glimmer (from the vendors), right? So the same rules would apply to the player sellers. It would require vanguard marks and motes of light and strange coins and other stuff. It wouldn't make it any easier to get good armor. It would still be just as hard, but the purchasers would have more options than just the 4-5 vendors at the tower.
