Special weapons, specifically shotguns, need reworked

Special weapons are probably the most mind boggling thing about this game's PVP system. I have no idea how a studio that was so focused on weapon and map control can suddenly cater to the people that whined about never having a chance with the power weapons, but I digress. There are several maps that can be played quite easily without ever using anything else besides a shotgun. Now, normally that wouldn't be an issue, however these shotguns are basically the equivalent of a halo shotgun, which in case people forgot, was a one per map spawning gun that could change the flow of the game. Now, everybody has one, and not only did they let everybody have one, they added a sliding animation to go along with it. Seriously though, Twilight gap is almost entirely shotguns. Now, If I had a choice, everybody would be running around with snipers because they actually take some amount of skill to use them, rather than sitting in corners or sprinting and sliding at people like shot gun noobs tend to do, but even they are pathetically, ridiculously easy. The hit boxes are ENORMOUS, like bigger than anything I have ever seen and its pretty laughable the headshot you can pull off especially on a moving target that you hit nowhere near their face. And before you say git gud I am asking the devs to make it harder for me to kill you. Probably the main issue with special weapons, is the frequency of the ammo spawns. You can literally sit there on first light in the cave and never run out of sniper ammo and can run a shot gun the whole time without ever really worrying about ammo. They should, instead of have so many ammo spawns, make them far less frequent, and places that people would actually have to fight over so, you know map control could be a thing again. More along the lines of heavy ammo in number of deployment spots, with a longer cooldown time and in places that you would actually have to work for the ammo and be rewarded for it. Heavy weapons could also use something like that too. You should have to fight over the control of the spawns, not just kind of have them free about the map. That doesn't reward teamplay or map control in the slightest. I kind of get what they were trying to do. Let more people enjoy the power weapons, which is fine, but maybe make it a bit more difficult to enjoy the power weapons with some effort involved would be great. Que the flamming that i gurantee this post will get
