10 PvP Tips for beginners.

1. No matter how much you like COD, Destiny is not run and gun. 2. Use your radar. It is your best friend. 3. Play with friends, since there is no open communication in matchmaking... you will miss out on call outs and fun times screaming at each other because you just got blade danced on twice in a row! 4. Learn to aim at the face accurately. Doing body damage is a joke conpared to consecutive headshots from any weapon. 5. Rockets are great but the real damage is done with the MGs. 6. When heavy ammo is available, you snag it as fast as possible. Keeping it out of your opponents hand is key. 7. Strategize your attacks. Just running out in the open all the time will get you mowed down by experienced players, pick the fights you know you can win. 8. If you suspect someone is around the corner camping with a shotty... they probably are. 9. Do not waste supers on just one person... time your special for maximum effectiveness. 10. Control zones, this is not camping. This is effectively controlling a strongpoint on the map where the enemy has to come to you, but you have the advantage.

    11. You see a vehicle, you use the vehicle. It is your fault you chose to not use the Pike or Interceptor that is sitting there on the map, only to let the enemy team take it and turn your body into ashes. 12. Maps that have vehicles also let you use your Sparrow bike to get around the map faster. 13. Bring a Shotty, a Fusion Rifle and a Sniper Rifle. Learn the names of the maps. Swap between the three that you feel you will need the most before the game actually begins. 14. Control is a game of Capture and DEFEND control points to boost your score when you get a kill. You can gain a big advantage defending the zones. All you need is two to really win. 15. The radar picks up enemies more frequently when they are moving. So do theirs. If you are going to defend, crouch and stay still. 16. Almost all places have at least 2 ways in and out. Flanking the enemy can easily get you a lot of kills as they can focus on one person most of the time. 17. If you are going to the crucible expecting loot, you're going to have a bad time. Loot distrubuted here is currently random. However, the better you do, and the more crucible bounties you do, the more marks and rep you'll get to purchase legendary gear. 18. Don't pay attention to the big numbers on armor and weapons. They don't mean anything in the Crucible. For weapons, look at the bars instead to determine if a weapon is good for you or not. Ex: Impact will cause your opponent's crosshair to move off target when struck or determine how far an opponent gets blasted when surviving a rocket. Velocity determines how fast your rockets will travel. For armor, use the stats(Strength, Intellect and Discipline) to determine what you want. You can hover over the stats on your character to determine what does what for you. 19) If losing, just try to be the best in your team(or overall players in the match if you can). Trying to go in and win everytime is harder since that requires teamwork. However, you are responsible for your overall score and that can get you reps and marks. 20) Bring bounties with you and finish them. They'll level you and your equipment up and make the grind much shorter so you can start grabbing loot.
