Clearly this kid has not raided in any MMO over and over and still not get the drop you want. Crying over rng is like being upset because a warrior tier item doesn't drop every time. You are like a casual trying to be hardcore. At least I know in not hardcore and don't try to fake it.

  • i love how all of you keep calling destiny and Mmo when there is nothing massive about, i like the game, and ive played mmos that needed more grinding than destiny will take in 5 years but nothing like that. On an mmo you go to a boss, kill it, it will drop something for sure which is actually useful. you roll for it with your party and someone gets it unless you really need it, Here you go to a strike (which is nothing like any mmo instance, strikes are just boring once youve played them 1-2 times) you kill a bulletsponge and then it has a chance to drop something that you will probably have already if you are lvl 24 and you keep doing that over and over with the hope that you will get a legendary engram and be lucky enough for it to decrypt into an actual legendary item and not on a rare one. So no, this game has nothing to do with any typical mmo cause in a normal mmorpg when you do an instance you know it has chance to drop something you NEED and you dont pray everytime to get lucky so you get a legendary that it will turn into a legendary. As for playing the game part, there is not enough content to play, even if its supposed to stay for 10 years, the avalaible content on release is far too little. Think of any MMO you played on its release without the expansions and think how many hours worth of content they had, then compare it to this.

  • Never said it was an MMO, MMOs are the only point of reference for loot, drop rates, and different qualities and variants of items. So that's what people will compare this to for years to come.

  • Oh man. When you raid and raid and raid and then the drop you've been waiting for drops and you have to roll all the other warlocks for it. You roll a 12 out of 100. You lose. I don't think a lot if people playing Destiny know anything about that.

  • Clearly not, if they did, we wouldn't see the complaining that we have been seeing. :(
