The latter could be a voluntary join to the channel as well. I've played every mainstream MMO after Everquest. I have plenty of MMO good and bad experiences. There are two platforms supported and both platforms don't support keyboard. Don't ask for something the manufacturers aren't providing to the game developer operating within those ecosystems. Complain to your console manufacturer. Everyone needs to stop thinking this is a PC game with a company that has multiple MMO titles under their belt. They've done amazing within the context their contributing to and expecting more is bratty.

Pretty sure both platforms support USB keyboards. I know in the last gen the PS3 did, used it in DCUO. The 360 had the chat pad. On this gen, both should support it. On the Xbox One, though, even if they aren't, Smartglass for the Xbox One allows you to use a smart phone or tablet to type. The PS4 also supports USB and Bluetooth keyboards out of the box.

Because you may want to compromise, doesn't mean Bungie wanted to.

Yes, because random group invites when I'm checking bounties or engrams is [i]such a better experience[/i]. How foolish of me. Please, continue to find nothing that could be improved upon in Destiny. It ensured we have the best product for our money.

I'm not saying it can't be improved but as is provided the experience to start playing with friends. Adding features to include more randoms could be something they evaluate. I'm not going to hate on something because it doesn't include additional features while the game itself works well. That being said I'm still waiting for them to stabilize the network connection. I have fiber internet and get dropped at least five times a night.

Which is why a typing chart, at least for LFG would be good. Select to put yourself in it, then get and send whispers to and from interested groupers. It doesn't need to be something everyone is in at all times; just when friends aren't on and they are looking to group up for strikes or bounties. Maybe a d-pad direction to join and leave the channel.

Speech to text isn't always great. Android has it, but it is still wonky. Besides, the Kinect has trouble with some accents, so hoping it works in game might be wishful thinking.

Plus, even if using a controller, it's not hard to say LFG weekly heroic/nightfall PST.
