Exotics are the best items in the game. You should feel like you have earned them with blood, sweat and maybe some tears.
I have Thorn, and getting that sexy hand cannon took so much hard work, patience and some good friends that I owe a beer to for helping with the final strike. That I'm going to use that hand cannon until it degrades and turns into dust....

I won't be, I have rare handcannons I earned out of crucible that do a better job. Great, it looks nice, it's still crap compared to an auto rifle on bosses or a piercing hand cannon with 11 round mag for waves.

That's okay cuz when you go in iron banner and have no exotics you'll get your ass handed to you from those who actually spent time and didn't cry like a bitch to get it

Edited by SpcAgentLee: 9/18/2014 2:24:18 PMEverything has it's place. Maybe somewhere you'll need a hand cannon that can punch through armor with IMPACT and leave lingering/poison damage. I haven't seen that attribute on other weapons. Uniquely suited for it's purpose. If you want a better all around HC go get "The Devil You Know" or the "Lord High Fixer" or "The Chance" (Vanguard, Crucible, FWC respectively). I'd save my frustrations and anxieties for the Lv. 26 Xyor Strike. Trust.

The poison damage is weak and doesn't outstrip an auto rifles damage potential. Both my hand cannon and auto rifle have penetrating rounds already, along with a sniper. It's not a useful gun at all, especially when compared to the other two exotics I have from random drops and exotic bounty.

Seriously dude stop complaining I did in 5 crucible matches and get it's not that hard you 2 characters that are level 23- And above that's more then most people if just switch to a quick charge fusion rifle and heavy machine gun
