I did a lot of patrol missions yesterday on various planets and got more engrams slaying enemies that way, then I have in my 1 and only farming session (i.e. Shooting the same 3 enemies that come out of that cave on Earth's Skywatch area), so that's how I like to farm, just do patrols, get your Vanguard rank up, and hope engrams drop.
