legendary engrams are shit
Tired of getting legendary engrams and turning them in and getting shit but my friend always gets legendary weapons or armor

That's part of the fun. It's a crap shoot. The anticipation of the reveal and the disappointment or joy of the item received.

It's almost like people think this is WoW. People, legendary gear doesn't grow on trees. Either you can grind and chance your luck or you can work your but off earning the rep to buy them.

Its not broken it does exactly what it was intended to do getting different class items promotes or encourages you to creat a new class. And if every legendary engram was an exotic or legendary if have about 30 or more...

The loot and reward system is completely broken. No lie I have 4 exotics 1 auto rifle and 1 for the hunter and 2 for the Titan but I'm a warlock. Just don't understand why every legendary engram I get is something weaker than what I already have or for another class.

1 ReplyThey are. They need to remove the chance to receive Uncommon and Rare items. It should Legendary, Exotic, and Materials. The other stuff is just unfair. I haven't got one legendary engram in my time yet, but when I do, I bet it will be an Uncommon.

I got 3 legendary engrams and got 3 legendary auto rifles all same gun. Great gun but really all the same what are the odds. And I need legendary armor not guns it really sucks. I can't level up cuz rare don't have enough light I need. But legendary engrams sucked for me I got a rare from a exotic I was so pissed it was crap rare also. Prolly have had a solid 20+ legendary engrams have gotten a coin or rares sucks.

As my crypatch level and personal level go up (14 and 27) I tend to get more legendaries from the engrams and from ranking up with him. Keep grinding.

I got 7 Legendary Engarams today. How many actual pieces of Legendary gear did they give me? 0. How many did I get from Rare Engrams today? 2. It's more likely you'll get Legendary gear from all the Rare engrams you find than it is for the handful of Legendary engrams you find to be actual Legendary gear. -_-

1 ReplyYeah......I've gotten 1 legendary engram that gave me a strange coin. I have only 2 legendary armor pieces that I bought, meanwhile my friend who plays about the same and is the same level, and we play together has gotten like 1 exotic(for a different class), and 5 or 6 legendaries.

3 RepliesYou've probably heard this already, but you need to get your cryptarch rank up. Mine is rank 11 and i may still getting rares, but legendarys have been poppin up more. So far cryptarch has given me about 3-4 legendarys. Tons of engrams though

LOL. I came here to make my OWN thread about this and found yours. Just got my first legendary engram today. After DAYS of grinding I got one and I *literally* gasped. That gasp was premature. F---ing lvl 19 blue rifle.... What, the HELL. Why make the legendary ones so frieking rare if they arent going to give you anything good from them anyway?

I finally got my first legendary engram today. I was so excited, I immediately went to the Crytarch. I did a ten second countdown.. Annndd.. Fack. A facking blue piece of armor worse than what I have now. It only took me hours of grinding for that one -.- RNG gods hate me.

1 ReplyI've turned in a good 30ish legendary engrams since launch. Only one of them gave me a legendary, everything else was rares. No random exotics or exotic bounties either. I have a friend that got 3 exotics in one 6 hour period >.<

I've gotten maybe a total of 8 legendary engrams and only 1 turned into an actual legendary item. My first legendary armor came from a rare engram. #DestinyLogic
