Complete bounties. After handing in a load of completed tasks I was given a choice between 3 exotic weapon bounties.
Each bounty will reward a certain weapon and you'll need to complete several tasks to complete an exotic bounty.

How do you get exotic bounties?

To get an exotic bounty you must complete a good amount of regular bounties. Say if you accept 5 bounties, complete them all first then then turn them in all at once
