You do realize we're getting more story right? For free. The Queen from the Rift has more story, it's an upcoming event. Calm down.

I'm not 100% in on what they're thinking, but considering it's free I am keeping my faith in Bungie. They've earned it as far as I'm concerned.

maybe because its a long story and to fit it in one game by release you have to give it out in chunks. Do you want a cut-story thats decently long or a masterpiece of a story thats very long? Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us are both story driven games and they don't even release all of the story in one go and it's still good.

Edited by Shiva: 9/18/2014 1:57:45 AMThat wasn't a chunk it was little scattered crumbs. I know that Bungie is capable of doing a much better job and won't give them a pass on the story. If you compare the quality of story in this game to the graphical fidelity there is a horrible mismatch in quality. Its a high quality game for sure, but not a high quality story by any stretch of the imagination at this point. I hope they change that - but with the lead writer leaving to do Tell Tale Game of Thrones... not sure what will happen. Also Tell Tale releases complete chapters with cliff hangers that propel you forward and I love their structure. The story in this game is NOWHERE near that quality. Its incomplete and thin at best. If it had been 30 minutes of Tell Tale quality story telling I would be more than happy.

You know that will be one mission and about as enlightening to the story from the first missions were. I.e. no story worth mentioning.
