What do you want it to do? Cuddle you? Just don't get shot mate that's all there is to it, you can adapt your play style to deal with any situation someone can throw at you in destiny. Arc blade coming at you? I find it's easy to disorient them since they're so quick, jump around and you might survive. See a golden gun in someone's hand? Either avoid them for 15 seconds, sprint/slide to cover and never stop or dodge a max of 3 bullets and shoot them back. I'm not gonna list out how to get out of every situation ever but I can tell you it's very possible to escape every super.
