Wheelchair, not that anybody here needs a wheelchair. It's for sweet wheelies.

            • Part 1 of this story I flexed my toes, feeling the hard earth through the soles of my boots. A light breeze wafted over the rise I was hiding behind, rustling my cloak and making the eagle pattern stitched on it shimmer in the harsh sunlight. The wind stirred patterns in the fine dust that coated the ground, and everything else in the Cosmodrone. To my left a Warlock sat, mumbling incoherently about the light and the dark, while cleaning her gun of dust. Some guardians say that a Warlocks mind is a battle ground, where they fight for control over their actions, scenes and their sanity. And the more I travelled with this one, the more I have come to believe them. More than once I have seen her lose control, hurling balls of energy without reason or target, and at night, while she sleeps her eyes glow a deep, pulsating purple. Further away, over the rise, stood our target. A high priority Devil Baron. He wad surrounded by a guard of Captains, Vandals and Dregs. Further from the formidable cluster of Fallen, five Shanks - their pets and scouts - patrolled the immediate area, ready to raise the alarm to their superiors if ever there was sign of trouble. It was time to make our move. I pulled my sniper rifle from my back and whispered to the Warlock "time to make our move". She nodded and started to move slowly away. I undid the gas filters on my helmet and tasted the morning air. It was dry, devoid of any moisture. Everything had to been considered when taking out a target this lethal. And a miss, a miss would results in hers, and probably my deaths. Strangely I felt the unfamiliar hand of nervousness groping at my mind, but I forced it aside, it was a distraction, and distractions led to mistakes. I adjusted my position in the dirt as I put my eye up to the scope, and waited for the signal from my partner. And a few seconds later there it was, five fingers, five seconds until she would strike, five seconds until I had to take the shot. Moments later I watched as she rushed forward, her gun raining hell and pain on the Fallen. Within seconds the Baron's guard was dead, and the Baron was confused. And fearful. I could see it in his face as he ran his eyes over his fallen comrades. I watched his face turn to hatred as he looked upon the warlock, who stood defiant, surrounded in the glow of the void. Now was the perfect time, I breathed in, placed my finger on the trigger, and fired. That was when it all went wrong. The Baron chose that moment to teleport, he only moved a foot from where he was standing, but now, the place my bullet would have delivered its deadly payload contained only air. I cursed, and adjusted my position but the Baron was no longer in view, where was he now? I thought to myself, just as a shadow fell over me, I gulped. This is the end, a loud crack resonated through my skull and the world went black... When I awoke I was slapped in the face by the rancid smell of rotting flesh and blood, I could see nothing save the blackness, populated by hundreds of glowing points of light, eyes. Big ones and small ones, all of them filled with hatred and malice. I tried lifting a hand, but to no avail, my hands and feet where bound, constrained in metal. Well at least I wasn't dead, although undoubtedly I would not stay this way for long. I was going to die here, where ever here was... I forced those morbid thoughts aside, and focused myself on feeling for the power that lay inside me, the power that the traveller had bestowed upon each and every guardian. With it I could conjure a flaming hand-cannon from thin air, which I would then proceed to decimate huge groups of enemy's with, nothing could withstand the godly burn of that flaming gun; it had become the infamous hallmark of the hunter, the only issue, I had to be able to move my arm to use it. Unless... A plan started to formulate in my head. As long as I was still wearing my armour, and I was mostly certain that I was, the searing heat of the gun's solar shot would be like the faint flame of a candle to me and a roaring inferno to the shackles that chained my hands and feet in place. I could fire the gun at the ground and the resulting explosion should be enough to at least melt the constraints on my arms and legs, the light of my armor should be enough to combat the inferno. My gun would not harm me, this was the way the Traveler had created it.I uttered a quick prayer to the light and began to summon the gun. It was hard. Harder than it had ever been. Something was pulling it back every time it got close. An unbound scream fled my lips as I struggled to bring the gun into existence. It was so close, I could feel it, sitting on the very edge of reality, almost ready to fall. Then suddenly, accompanied by a loud bang, the golden gun lay on my grasp. Its burning light illuminating the previously pitch black cave. Now that the cave was bathed in light I could see everything, around the platform that I was strung up on sat around fifty Fallen, cowering behind their hands as the light blinded them, a few meters to left of where I was hanging was the Warlock. Her helmet lay, in pieces, on the ground beneath her dangling feet. I looked at her face, her limp black hair had fallen over her face, obscuring the wound that I knew must be there as a steady stream of blood was flowing down her body and pooling on the platform, oddly not a single Captain was visible among the cluster of confused Fallen. Somehow my eyes trained their gaze onto a smaller, younger looking Dreg who had something in their hand. The longer I look the more furious I became, that Dreg had my knife, curiosity compelling it to tap it against a protruding rock, blunting it! “DO NOT, TOUCH, MY KNIFE”! I screamed at the Fallen, anger and hatred making me see red. I squeezed the trigger of my gun until it would move no more. There was a tremendous bang as light erupted from the pistol, my arm jarring against my shackles. I watched silently as the resulting solar flames ate away at my constraints, as if they were little more than butter. I slumped to the ground. And when I rose I saw the Fallen staring at me, their dark eyes filled with confusion, a few were drawing their weapons. But without a Captain’s leadership they had nothing to guide their actions, so most just stared. Fuelled on by my anger at my comrade’s condition and by the desecration of my most prized weapon, I took up the mantle of the hard hitting Titan, with my flaming pistol tucked into my belt, I used my fist to crush the skulls of the enemy until they were all laying at my feet, dead, the mossy floor of the cave slick with their ether. I walked over to where my prized knife lay, the hands of its defiler still wrapped around it, the hilt was fast becoming sticky with ether. So I stooped down and snatched it up, quickly wiping the hilt and blade before tucking back into it rightful place in my belt. I looked around the cave for my weapons, I needed to find them quickly as the light produced by my golden gun would soon run out. I spent a few seconds looking before I found them, lying in a heap in the furthest right hand corner of the cave. I sprinted over to them, now that the adrenaline and fury had left me, I realized how injured I was, blood was streamed from open wounds in my thighs, every step bought a bought of pain, making running an extremely painful experience. I gathered up my guns, slinging my sniper rifle over my back and next the dwindling light of my golden gun I tucked my hand cannon. I jogged painfully back to the Warlock, aimed the gun carefully at the first shackle and fired shot after shot until it finally gave way. I repeated this on the rest, until the Warlock slumped to ground, she was unconscious. I nudged her shoulder, but she was out cold. And when I took her pulse it was faint, like the heartbeat of a dying rabbit. I cursed picked her limp frame of the ground and slung her over one shoulder. Now where? I thought as I looked around the cave. A faint golden glow caught my gaze, the way out? Maybe. I gritted my teeth against the pain and limped at a snail’s pace towards the exit.

                • And this wonderful forum post I found I put the barrel of my gun right in the eye of your ghost, then I T-bag. When I throw my knife right into the eye of the Titan trying to shoulder charge me, I T-bag. When I get a Triple Down to win the match, I visit each corpse and T-bag. I kill a warlock then I T-bag. That warlock revives, I kill him again and T-bag again. When your body disintegrates, I T-bag the ashes. When I run over you with the Interceptor, I will get out and T-bag your flattened corpse. When I snipe you from across the map, I will run over and T-bag. My lustful desires to slam my genitals/vaginal area into your still warm-body shall not be denied. I CANNOT REMEMBER WHO ORIGINALLY POSTED THIS BUT ITS FUNNY AS HELL

                              • Given the abundance of oxygen and silicon in the crust, it should not be surprising that the most abundant minerals in the earth's crust are the silicates. Although the Earth's material must have had the same composition as the Sun originally, the present composition of the Sun is quite different. The elemental composition of the human body and life in general is quite different.
