Just sign in. Join the match. AFK. Make a snack. Watch some Netflix. Play on your phone. Play another game at the same time on your PC or other console set on Video 2, maybe call your parents/grandparents/siblings/friends. Get some work or school work done for tomorrow. Or you cou- OH! Match is over? Get loot or not, get rep. Repeat.
Eventually that'll make for a great "epic story for each piece of gear you're wearing." Just how Bungie said it would be.
Strike bosses need loot tables at the least. Gearing up in this game at lvl 20 is laughable.
