6 randoms in matchmaking wouldn't even get the damn vault door open. Just use http://www.destinylfg.com/ like the rest of us and find a group of decent people. Seriously, I've done the raid twice and it took me all of 10 minutes to get started both times, and it's way better then matchmaking because you know all six people have a mic (which is pretty much an absolute must)
It's this type of attitude that ruined World of Warcraft too -_-

What makes this different from MM is that casuals won't go through the effort to find a group on there.
-
Isn't that the same as MM LOL
-
Amen bro, thanks for not being lazy like all of these people complaining about not having MM
-
Wow, thanks for that link! I was afraid this forum was the only hope in finding a fireteam during the random hours I have time to play.
-
I'm in the same boat. I was playing at 3am this morning. Yesterday I played all day throughout the day but couldn't at night. The day before that I played all evening til almost 2am. I don't/can't have designated hours to play in a dedicated group. So this site will definitely help

They are still RANDOM people that I don't know at all. These people aren't trustworthy to me, and the people I would find in matchmaking would be just the same - at least matchmaking will take mere minutes.
-
No, because if matchmaking was open you'd end up being grouped with 4 level 24s (who are pretty much useless in there), people would cry for nerds because "why have matchmaking when a random group has no chance of beating it." Bungie didn't make all the right decisions when making this game, but this is definitely one of them.

I remember needs saying the same thing in SWTOR. If they aren't going to have MM we need a form if in game communication and and a way of inspecting those who want to join your fire team to ensure they are geared to do the activity.
-
Definitely agree on the communication point. It's the weakest aspect of the game right now and hopefully Bungie addresses it soon. As for inspecting, I somewhat agree but at least with the way light works you have a general idea of someone's gear based off their level alone.
