People don't understand how much this game would benefit to a trading system... Since the accounts are saved on a CLOUD, that means duping cannot happen.
I have also picked up Legendaries and Exotics for a different class, wishing I could trade them with another player for similar equipment. YOU can earn your gear but it is your choice if you want to give it away, they should make a trading system where both players must accept what they wish to trade and must come to a final conclusion, if one player cancels to try to change anything, it will cancel the whole trade. Not hard.
The Cryptarch is a jerk, why have a chance of getting a Rare out of a Legendary Engram? Where is the "Earning"?
Random drops aren't "earning" since they are RANDOM, I play the game for much longer than my friend and he gets better loot than me...
EDIT: I can only EARN so much a week anyway, so if they limit how much I can EARN, which pretty much stops me from playing because bad drops.

Like the material description for Weapon Parts "Acquired from the Gunsmith OR dismantled weapons"....so where is the option to buy them from the gunsmith? Or the 2 Grimoire cards for Vehicles, Built 0, and Ships Built 0. Or the fact that I now have 340 Sapphire Wire AFTER upgrading.
-
I couldn't agree more that this would be a solution it could also give more of a use for glimmer IMO
-
lol at all the Fanboys defending bungie's awful decisions... There needs to be trading System, period.
-
Here's one problem with a trading system: "WTB Ascendant Shards!" "Buying Ascendant Shards!" "Looking for Ascendant Shards!!" "...Wait. Everyone wants Ascendant Shards, but no one is selling?" Glimmer quickly becomes pointless. Before long everyone will have a slew of Legendaries and Exotics, but everyone will be needing the materials to upgrade them. These are what are truly rare and hard to get. Even if you have Raids and Nightfalls down to farming for Ascendant materials what would you possibly want in return for selling them off?

Did you not see what happened to Diablo 3

Edited by Lord-Malak38: 9/17/2014 1:29:47 AMtrading isnt in the game and they said they wouldnt put it in, because what would be the point of playing the game if you could get everything the free and easy way? sure it has benefits but if you get pieces of loot not for your main then make alts and give it to them.
-
First thought was there's no economy... Then I realized farmers could sell strange coins and ascendant shards like hot cakes. Personally, I feel more rewarded knowing I've earned my gear versus window shopped and made a trade for it also. Allowed 3 characters and there's 3 classes, not a coincidence... Can gear up your alts

So, not to rant here, but a couple of my armor pieces, and that lovely hand cannon I sport, all came off low level mobs, who just so happened to drop legendary engrams. Not exactly a battle worth telling tales of for the gear I earned, but hey, you know... whatever. I imagine the raid gear is going to be the tale teller gear. Trading is silly, I don't see it being worth while on here, it'd just kill the experience for finding gear even more than it already is with this random derp loot drop deal. The random gear you get that doesn't suit your class can be disassembled and reward you with lovely shards that you can then use to upgrade the other legendary/exotic things you have, OR you can save it for other classes you eventually will make, and I'm sure you will make the other classes at some point, because you want to experience the whole package that the game can offer, right? Right.

Nope! Never trading!!

Edited by Ultron: 9/17/2014 1:07:36 AMYour an idiot, just an other little scrub chinese farmer. if this game have a trade system, Destiny will die with it and make this game P2W You guys are so desperate to have a trade system you are now talking about Duping and Cloud system. LOL !

Edited by Tevaull: 9/17/2014 3:01:12 AMPeople do understand, I think you don't understand the unintended consequences of a trading system. As soon as this happens the game will be flooded with gold farmers. Websites will spring up and Destiny becomes a pay to win game. Those of us that can afford to spend a few hundred on gear will have a huge advantage. Everyone else will suffer with the game being unbalanced. It sounds like a good idea but if you think it through you quickly realize it isn't worth it.
-
People in the comments are dissing the idea of trading like a plague.
-
No, stop crying and expecting everything to be handed to you just because you're max level. Shit, so many whiny babies on this forum complaining about RNG.
-
Trading would ruin the point of the game... To build, earn, fight for your legacy.
-
Trading's stupid and should never be put into this game
-
Sorry man but i honestly like how to get gear atm in PVE not pvp i dont think that it is fair in pvp how it is randomly selected for players to get gear. I feel that gear should definitely be giving to the top 2 players and chance for the others im not. Saying that because i do top second each match but because it seems like it would be better for the players to strive to do better
-
And we don't need gold sellers. Glimmer sellers?
-
if we have tradeing in destiny, this game would become hat fortress 2
hatstiny?
-
i do not want a trading system. after having played pc mmorpgs for several years i hate it that i have to grind and earn good gear and some idiot with a high level friend just gets rained on like a stripper on payday
-
it would turn into team fortress 2 , exotics would be the unusuals of destiny, im done with my days of tf2 trading and don't want it in destiny.
-
Even games that have trading often lock legendary items to the finder and have soul binding so you can't trade gear you have already used. I've seen trading rib so many games with RMT gold farmers, and low level twinks. No thank you

If there is a trading system it will ruin the game. Things will come to easy to newer players, it won't be as fun EARNING rare and legendary gear, and it could easily be exploited.
-
And this is where we start seeing gold spammers if/when there is a general chat.
-
trading in this game would be dumb. we dont need it. get drops for other classes. vault it and make that char class. I have in my vault a legendary helmet and a legendary chest piece. the helmet for a titan, the chest piece for a warlock. I play a hunter. yet im not complaining. get over it.
