This game NEEDS a trading system.
People don't understand how much this game would benefit to a trading system... Since the accounts are saved on a CLOUD, that means duping cannot happen.
I have also picked up Legendaries and Exotics for a different class, wishing I could trade them with another player for similar equipment. YOU can earn your gear but it is your choice if you want to give it away, they should make a trading system where both players must accept what they wish to trade and must come to a final conclusion, if one player cancels to try to change anything, it will cancel the whole trade. Not hard.
The Cryptarch is a jerk, why have a chance of getting a Rare out of a Legendary Engram? Where is the "Earning"?
Random drops aren't "earning" since they are RANDOM, I play the game for much longer than my friend and he gets better loot than me...
EDIT: I can only EARN so much a week anyway, so if they limit how much I can EARN, which pretty much stops me from playing because bad drops.

No, trading would ruin the entire game and people would "magically" find a way to duplicate items and gear. Is rather deal with the headaches and grind to earn all my gear, rather than be a trading whore and trade continuously. Also, I would not be able to have the patience for all the people spamming messages to trade... Deal with the tough fact that you have to work towards something and deal with the ending product. Is it what you wanted? Maybe not, but you got something and not everything in life is easily obtained.

Im sure with as many people out there right now getting random Legendary armor constantly, chances are I could find every piece of legendary armor in a couple days just by trading...INSTEAD OF PLAYING THE GAME AND EARNING THEM!!! In many ways what is clearly transparent from all these comments is that we all live in a world where money or trade or privilege effects us on a fundamental level. WE DON'T WANT IT IN OUR FANTASY LIVES, because we wish to inhabit a world where honor, bravery, sacrifice, and hard work MEAN SOMETHING and not one where money rules. Some one earlier in this thread mentioned how people where compering trading to a plague, that's because in our own private minds that's how we see it.

trading system is a bad idea there would be a cution house and the item will be overpriced if u need 1 people dont konw what is the economy of most of MMO game so no on destiny we dont need a trading system

Heres what i think we should have. A trading system, run by a currency cap (to prevent abuse) Uncommon items can be traded for 1000 glimmer from BOTH parties. Rare items can be traded for 5000 glimmer from BOTH parties, but item experience levels are cut in half( so if a rare item is max level with say 5000 xp it gets cut down to 2500 xp. Legendary items can be trade for 10000 glimmer from BOTH parties, but they must not have ANY xp earned on them (basically, if you use it, ti's yours forever and is untradeable, but if it drop, and you have better you can trade it off) Glimmer cost are removed if items of equal value are exchanged, (so if someone wants to trade a legendary item for another legendary (say legendary warlock gloves dropped on your titan, and the warlock in your group got legendary titan gloves they coul exchange them par) "equal value could be broken down by two things, 1, they must have the same lvl, and two they must be the same quality, so a lvl 18 rare can be traded for another lvl 18 rare without cost. unequal exchanged (say a lvl 20 for a lvl 19 rares) will still incur the glimmer cost.

I am limited due to work in RL, and I am fine.. I still manage to grind the max Crusible marks to max. I just brought my first purple yesterday.

You take more pride in the legendary and exotic gear you earn. People respect those with better gear who earned it more than those who trade for it. However, I also agree with you because it's impossible for me to level since the Cryptarch never gives me anything good.

i disagree =/ it would make a system where people can buy goods for real money, where clans will hand out amazing goods to anyone who joins them, it will further imbalance them game. im ok with the 100% chance of legendarys from the shops and a smaller chance from the engrams

I see the problem but a trading system wouldn't necessarily be a solution as it would create the problem that other people are trading instead of EARNING and also just put the other class stuff in your vault for other characters you've made.

... I don't usually agree with this, but I've been killed by a shit ton of people wielding exotic weapons like the Monte Carlo or Legendary guns like the Shadow Price. And since the game has been out a week, and buying such a gun is impossible for multiple reasons, it means they got at least 100x luckier than me. =3= Which frustrates me...
