The Cryptark and Bungie's cruel joke.

(I posted this in another thread) Here is the part I don't understand (and mind you, I like to think I'm a pretty reasonable man) What's the point of a purple enegram giving you something different than a purple? They are rare enough as it is, why build in a sub rarity table to an already rare item? It almost feels like someone a Bungie thought it would be fun to be cruel :( Next weekend I should have enough motes to buy an exotic enegram from that dude but I'm afraid it has a 99% chance built in to be a blue. This is def the only thing that's bumming me out from the game.

  • Exotic engrams will always reward you with an exotic item. It's just the legendary so that will make you rage. (That being said an exotic engram will still drop an item for a random class.)
