After watching your video (which I found was much better after I muted you), I have to say; if it requires dying to reset it, it's not a good farming spot.
I may be wrong, but I've only been playing MMO's and RPG's since the genres were first created.
But I don't think I'm wrong here, and I believe that most MMO and RPG veterans will agree with me on that. Dying and resetting is time consuming. The whole point of farming is that it is a much faster way to generate whatever it is you might be looking for in a faster way than just playing the game. To maximize that, you have to remove the dying/resetting aspect.
Thus, that is not a good farming spot.

Respawning takes literally 5 seconds max if you're alone..

Edited by Firehawk991: 9/16/2014 8:33:52 PMI agree. I don't want to die to reset. I just want to keep shooting, move the patern, collect the loot and repeat that.

The alternative is pause, change character and select the same character then resume but that adds 2 cutscenes which makes it less efficient. Next I'll try the return to orbit and see the time difference.

Good engrams are good engrams. What does it matter? This method is one of the better spots I've seen because of the higher enemies who also give out glimmer.

news flash this isn't an mmo lol or an rpg
-
Wrong its an mmorpg
-
Wrong its an fpsmmorpg
-
mmorpg is the generic term
-
I was teasing everyone is trying to be so damn specific, It's a game that's fun, no need to argue about details
-
True frankly I dont see the problem with the spot its not bad if you get good gear who cares if you have to wait to respawn

When out on patrol, in the crucible, running strikes, you're playing with others while connected to Bungie servers= Massivly Multiplayer Online (MMO) In this game you play the role of a revived guardian, take on missions to help save humanities "Traveler" and the universe it self = Role Playing Game (RPG) You seem to be trying to place the MMORPG genre into a very small circle of things, MMORPG is actually a very wide genre that incorporates many many different games. If you have to take on the role of a character and follow any type of story, you're in a RPG. If you have to be constantly online and others are around you playing that you can see, it's a MMO.

News flash, yes it is both an MMO and a RPG you dumbass

Edited by JasonLeeJames: 9/17/2014 4:37:12 AMMassivelyMultiplayer means that on your screen there are 30-100+ players. The max on screen in destiny is 3-16. Please tell me how is that massive?

THANK YOU!

Besides the fact that its an FPS right?
-
It's also a FPS. It's all three...
-
Technically an open world shooter not MMO but it is RPG
-
How's it not an MMO?
-
Too few players on one server/instance.
-
Ah. Okay then
-
Not enough people in world at the same time. Bungie also said it was not an MMO this whole time but a shared world shooter
-
"shared world" Fancy word for MMO
