couldn't be happier legendaries are hard to find

I can't be the only one that is enjoying how hard it is to find legendaries right? I don't want the best items to be handed out and think it's pretty ridiculous that people would want it differently. This instant gratification-mentality seems so silly only a week into the game--sit back and enjoy the experience! And sure, it'd be frustrating to find a purple or gold Engram and have it be something for a different class, but it'll make it that much better when you finally do find something. Here's to the more searching and grinding ahead! Cheers! Edit: Hey guys, just wanted to thank you all for the great feedback! As I'm sure you've noticed, it's reassuring to read so many like-minded players who realize that legendaries should be just that--legendary . Anyway, I'm a level 21 warlock looking for other players for fire teams and eventually raids. I play in MDT time zone and prefer people who have and use mics. Feel free to add me as I'm open to all game types! Cheers!

 • I have no problem with a low drop rate. I do have a problem with a low conversion rate. imagine the scene if you would: I get a slight jolt when I see a purple glow on the floor half hidden by the corpse I just created.....I walk over slowly... no it isn't heavy ammo, oh my good god. I'm on the edge of my seat, walking over to it. Legendary engram! I stop, only for a second to bask in its beautiful glow, then snatch it up. As soon as i can I rush back to the tower run right up to the cryptarch like a puppy with his first big stick, tail wagging. Me: ..."what is it, what is it, what is it... what has I found?" Cryptarch: "sorry little puppy this purple item is a very sharp and pointy, I'll give you this nice blue one instead" Me:..."But i already have a blue one, i don't have a purple one" Cryptarch: "better luck next time" * tail stops wagging* and folds firmly between legs as I mope back to orbit. rinse and repeat 10 to 20 times and suddenly you aren't even excited when you see one on the floor. instead you think "legendary engram? god damn it i thought it was heavy ammo." You don't rush back with baited breath but instead dread. you fear to hope that perhaps this time you might get a shiny purple item, even though your previous 19 experiences seems to tell you otherwise. you are ready to decrypt it and begin the sulking and there it is purple hands! genuine purple hand! Me: "THANK YOU MR. CRYPTARCH! thank you, thank you, thank you" *tail is wagging ferociously!* Cryptarch: "you're welcome little puppy" Me: *goes to equip and look how amazing the item looks in the virtual flesh* "umm Mr. Cryptarch i think you made a mistake this item says hunter in the spot where it should say warlock, see right there hunt-ter...and me im war-lock" Cryptarch: "I said...you're welcome little puppy" Me...*narrows eyes*...*holds up paw* ......"you better sort this sh*t out buddy or I'm gonna turn you into ash, I swear, ain't nobody got time for that!" ....and that is why, i will from now on, get better conversions from my legendary engrams. <----true story
